MARGARET OERTLING CUPPLES is a partner at the law firm of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, where she focuses on the areas of appellate law, toxic torts and products liability, and insurance sales practices and other commercial litigation. CZAMANSKE JR. is a civil trial attorney with the law firm of Chapman, Lewis & Swan, where he practices primarily in the areas of product liability, premises liability, and medical malpractice. REBECCA HAWKINS is with the law firm of Wise Carter Child & Caraway, P.A., where she practices in the areas of appellate practice and commercial and general liability litigation. Ms. Hawkins received her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Louisiana Tech University and her J.D. degree, with distinction, from Mississippi College. Her appellate practice has covered a broad spectrum of cases including mass torts, products liability, insurance bad faith claims, arbitration, professional malpractice, and conservatorships. JEFFREY A. KLINGFUSS is a special assistant attorney general in the Office of the Attorney General, Criminal Division. He has represented the state of Mississippi in more than 500 published opinions in the state reporter system (Southern Reporter). Mr. Klingfuss has experience in grand jury presentment, felony trials, capital murder trials, interlocutory appeals, direct appeals, post-conviction proceedings and habeas petitions. He also has experience in trial courts and oral arguments before the State Court of Appeals and the State Supreme Court. Mr. Klingfuss is familiar with the U.S. Supreme Court practice and has responded to petitions for certiorari and assisted in preparation of response and amicus briefs. He is listed in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Panel of Neutrals for the Federal District Court of Southern Mississippi and is a mediator with the state bar dispute resolution. Mr. Klingfuss has spoken at numerous seminars and classes for the Mississippi Judicial College, University of Mississippi Continuing Legal Education, the State of Mississippi Prosecutor's Association, and is an adjunct professor of law at Mississippi College School of Law. He also assists law enforcement training in specialized areas of criminal law at state law enforcement academies.
