JOSEPH G. BALADI is a member in the Jackson law firm of Watkins & Eager PLLC, where he practices in the areas of medical malpractice defense, product liability litigation, asbestos litigation, and pharmaceutical and medical device defense. He has lectured to various professional groups. Mr. Baladi earned his B.B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Millsaps College, and his J.D. degree, with high honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is a member of the Hinds County Bar Association, The Mississippi Bar, the Defense Research Institute and the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. As well as being involved in several professional organizations, Mr. Baladi serves the Jackson community as a member of the St. Richard Catholic School Board. Mr. Baladi is admitted to practice in Missouri and Mississippi and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern districts of Mississippi, and the U.S. Court of Appeals Fifth Circuit. ROBERT C. BOYD is the founder of the Robert Boyd and Associates PLLC law firm, where he devotes most of his practice to representation of injured parties in personal injury and wrongful death claims; including car, motorcycle and 18-wheeler wrecks; nursing home injuries; workers' compensation claims; and insurance bad faith claim denials. He is a member of The Mississippi Bar, the American Association of Justice (Professional Negligence Section and Nursing Home Litigation Group) and the Mississippi Association for Justice (Nursing Home Litigation Section and Workers' Compensation Section). Mr. Boyd also has been a presenter at several CLE seminars regarding Medicare liens and workers' compensation bad faith issues and also regularly covers personal injury, nursing home, insurance bad faith, and uninsured and underinsured automobile insurance issues in annual continuing legal education seminars. He earned his B.S. degree from Mississippi College and his J.D. degree, with special distinction, from Mississippi College School of Law. RANDY WALLACE is a partner at Robert Boyd and Associates PLLC in Clinton, Mississippi and his practice areas include 18 wheeler collisions, automobile liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, insurance bad faith, nursing home litigation, product liability and domestic relations. He earned his B.S. degree from Mississippi State University, and his J.D. and his Master of Business Administration degrees from Mississippi College School of Law and Mississippi College School of Business. Mr. Wallace is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Mississippi, including the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition, he has been admitted pro hac vice in Nevada, Arizona, Florida, Iowa and the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation. Mr. Wallace is a member of several legal organizations including the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and the Mississippi Association for Justice (MAJ). MARSHA YOUNG is an independent legal nurse consultant and owner/operator of Young's Forensics & Medical-Legal Consulting in Florence. As a legal nurse consultant, her services include initial screening for merit, medical record and case review, compilation of timelines and chronologies, preparation of questions for depositions, sexual assault nurse examiner, and serving as an expert witness for standards of care. Ms. Young has been a nurse for 28 years and remains clinically active as a nursing supervisor. Her career includes nursing, with an emphasis on medical and surgical patient care. Ms. Young also has worked in the areas of ICU, ER, special procedures/radiology and post anesthesia recovery nursing. She is a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, the Mississippi Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association and the International Association of Forensic Nurses.
