STEVEN H. FUNDERBURG is a partner in the Jackson law firm of Jones, Funderburg, Sessums, Peterson & Lee, PLLC, practicing in Jackson, Mississippi. More than half of his practice consists of representing claimants in workers' compensation cases. Mr. Funderburg also has represented employers, self-insured funds and carriers on workers' compensation claims as a partner with Upshaw, Williams, Biggers, Beckham & Riddick in their Jackson office. He has written several papers discussing Mississippi workers' compensation and bad faith law and is a frequent speaker at seminars and legal conferences. Mr. Funderburg earned both his undergraduate and law degree from the University of Mississippi. PARKER has almost 20 years of experience in domestic and international litigation and/or alternative dispute resolution matters. His practice experience during this time has been primarily concentrated in complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage disputes, including first and third-party coverage and claims defense, utility and power generation losses, petrochemical losses, refinery and related energy losses, multi-layered policy defense of complex property and time element losses, all risk and builder's risk policy analysis and defense, reinsurance arbitration, large loss subrogation, and product liability claims. His clients include numerous domestic and international insurers and reinsurers, as well as various product manufacturers. Mr. Parker is the managing member of Carroll, Warren & Parker PLLC, and is licensed to practice in Mississippi and Texas state courts, as well as various federal courts within those jurisdictions and in Puerto Rico.
