ROBERT C. BOYD is the founder of the Robert Boyd and Associates PLLC law firm, where he devotes most of his practice to representation of injured parties in personal injury and wrongful death claims including car, motorcycle and 18-wheeler wrecks; nursing home injuries; workers' compensation claims; and insurance bad faith claim denials. He is a member of The Mississippi Bar, the American Association of Justice (Professional Negligence Section and Nursing Home Litigation Group) and the Mississippi Association for Justice (Nursing Home Litigation Section and Workers' Compensation Section). Mr. Boyd also has been a presenter at several CLE seminars regarding Medicare liens and workers' compensation bad faith issues and also regularly covers personal injury, nursing home, insurance bad faith and uninsured and underinsured automobile insurance issues in annual continuing legal education seminars. He earned his B.S. degree from Mississippi College and his J.D. degree, with special distinction, from Mississippi College School of Law. JASON L. DAVIS is a special assistant attorney general with the Mississippi Attorney General's Office. He works in the criminal division and is one of three attorneys who handle death penalty appeals for the state of Mississippi. Mr. Davis has argued before the Mississippi Supreme Court and the 5th Circuit. He earned his B.A. degree from Mississippi College and his J.D. degree from Mississippi College School of Law. Mr. Davis is also an avid actor who has appeared on both stage and television and has spoken on a variety of subjects throughout the country. CHAD R. HUTCHINSON is a member of the health industry practice group of the Ridgeland law office of Butler, Snow, O'Mara, Stevens and Cannada, PLLC. His practice is focused mainly on nursing home and assisted living facility litigation, but he handles medical and pharmaceutical product liability, premises liability and insurance defense cases. Mr. Hutchinson obtained the first known order from a Mississippi trial court compelling arbitration in a nursing home case. He is a member of the American and Hinds County bar associations; The Mississippi Bar; Defense Research Institute; and Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Hutchinson earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, and M.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi and J.D. degree, cum laude, from Mississippi College School of Law. WALTER C. MORRISON IV is a member of the Jackson area law firm of Sessums, Dallas & Morrison, PLLC, where he practices in the areas of professional negligence, medical negligence, insurance bad faith, administrative law and mass torts. He earned his B.S. degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. degree from Mississippi College School of Law. Mr. Morrison was production editor of the Mississippi College Law Review and wrote Tax Evasion, Willfulness and the Subjective Standard; The Law Invites a Charlatan, 13 Miss. C.L. Rev. 195 (1992) and was a member of the National Moot Court competition team. He is an approved mediator by the Mississippi Supreme Court. Mr. Morrison also is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and was recently named to the Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Morrison has previous lecturing experience at seminars on litigation and medical malpractice. He is a member of the Rankin County Bar Association, Hinds County Bar Association and The Mississippi Bar.
