JEFFREY R. BARBER is a partner in Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre L.L.P.'s business and commercial litigation practice group and practices from the firm's Jackson office. He also is the office head for the firm's three Mississippi locations. Mr. Barber focuses his practice on bankruptcy and creditors' rights and is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy and creditors' rights matters. He regularly represents clients in bankruptcy proceedings and assists them in restructurings. In addition, Mr. Barber has served as an adjunct professor of Debtor-Creditor Law at the Mississippi College School of Law and is the author of several published works. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he graduated magna cum laude, and he earned his J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Barber was an associate editor of the Cumberland Law Review. He is a member of The Mississippi Bar, the Alabama State Bar, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference. BRADLEY T. GOLMON is an attorney with the Oxford law firm of Holcomb Dunbar, P.A., where he practices in the areas of commercial litigation, collection, residential and commercial financing, and insurance defense. His experience with commercial matters includes litigation over contract matters, land based and maritime matters, handling commercial and residential financing, collection of debt and foreclosure, representing creditors in bankruptcy matters, and contract advice and preparation. Mr. Golmon is a member of the Lafayette County Bar Association and The Mississippi Bar. He received his B.A. degree from Mississippi College and his J.D. degree from the University of Mississippi. KEVIN A. ROGERS is a litigator with Wells, Marble & Hurst, PLLC in Ridgeland, where he focuses his practice on creditors' rights, bankruptcy litigation, business and insurance litigation defense, and employee benefits litigation defense. He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Mississippi and Alabama as well as the Fifth, Sixth, and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal. Mr. Rogers is a member of the Jackson Young Lawyers Association, the Capital Area Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, at Mississippi College and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, at Mississippi College School of Law, where he authored a case note and served as chief executive editor of the Mississippi College Law Review. LESTER F. SMITH is a partner in the Jackson law firm of Smith & McArty, where he practices in the areas of collections, bankruptcy, business law and litigation. He frequently speaks at seminars in regard to his practice areas, including seminars on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and collection law. Mr. Smith is a member of The Mississippi Bar, the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, the Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference and the Metropolitan Consumers Credit Association. He received his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Mississippi, where he was associate editor of The Mississippi Law Journal.
