C. SCOTT CARTER is an attorney in Kansas City, Missouri, where he practices in the areas of corporate law, estate planning, probate, real estate, tax law and trusts. LINDA HART TABORY is senior counsel to the Hardwick Law Firm, LLC, in Kansas City, Missouri, where she concentrates her practice in the areas of guardianships, special needs trusts, elder law and probate matters. Ms. Tabory began practicing law in Washington, D.C., with the U.S. House of Representatives. She subsequently was a teaching fellow at Georgetown University Law Center and went on to the Office of Chief Counsel of the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Transit Administration. Ms. Tabory went into the private practice of law in 1997 and immediately began concentrating on probate issues. WILLIAM L. HUBBARD is a partner in the Kansas City law firm of Hubbard & Kurtz, L.L.P., where he practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, elder and special needs law. He has been certified as an elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and has lectured on estate planning, elder law, corporate and probate law. Mr. Hubbard is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (Probate & Estate Planning, Tax committees), The Missouri Bar (Probate, Elder Law and Tax committees), the American Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is a founding member of the Missouri chapter of the Council of Advanced Practitioners (past president, outstanding elder law attorney). Mr. Hubbard earned his B.S. degree from Northwestern University and his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri, where he was a member of the Missouri Law Review. STEVEN C. KRUEGER is a sole proprietor of Steven C. Krueger Legal Services LLC. For more than 20 years, Mr. Krueger has practiced in the areas of tax, probate and estate planning. He has lectured before professional and civic groups on topics related to his areas of practice. Mr. Krueger earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Missouri at Columbia, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. He is a member of the American Bar Association, The Missouri Bar Probate and Trust Committee and the Estate Planning Society of Kansas City. Mr. Krueger wrote the Missouri Bar Desk Book chapter on "Estate Planning Aspects of Corporate Reorganization." TERRI ROBERTS MUNSELL is a vice president and trust officer in the asset management division of UMB Bank. Prior to joining UMB Bank, Ms. Munsell practiced law for more than 11 years in the areas of taxation, trusts and estates, and business succession planning. She worked as an attorney in the Overland Park office of Shughart Thomson & Kilroy, PC, prior to joining UMB Bank. Ms. Munsell earned her LL.M. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, her J.D. degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law and her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Kansas State University.
