KIRK A. DAMMAN is a partner in the St. Louis office of Lewis, Rice & Fingersh, L.C., where he practices in all areas of intellectual property law with an emphasis on helping startup and growing companies begin to manage, license, and gain value from their intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets) and obtain protection for their most important ideas and products. Licensed to practice in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office for more than 10 years and having a degree in physics, he works with clients whose products are as diverse as: circuit and electrical designs; medical devices; computer software and Internet; heavy equipment and manufacturing; alternative energy and fuel; and consumer goods. Mr. Damman has co-authored two books on patent law and serves as the director of the United States Patent Practice (Patent Agency) degree program at Webster University, where he also is an adjunct professor. As part of this position he has taught ongoing education programs at the United States Patent Office for the Patent Examiner's who review patent applications. Mr. Damman was selected for inclusion in Missouri & Kansas Rising Stars® 2010 and named Patent Buddy® 2011 Top Patent Prosecutor. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Carleton College and his J.D. degree from Harvard Law School. Mr. Damman is a member of the Industrial Design Society of America (affiliate member), American Intellectual Property Law Association (vice chairman of the committee for Emerging Technologies, 2009-present), American Bar Association (member, Intellectual Property Law Section), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (Intellectual Property Committee) and Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. CHRISTOPHER J. DOSKOCIL is owner and operator of The Doskocil Law Firm P.C., where he focuses his practice in divorce, criminal, wills and trusts, probate, business start up, real estate, personal injury, and worker's compensation. Mr. Doskocil graduated from Washburn University Law School and participated in one of the first law school clinical programs in the country. His undergraduate studies were at Southeast Missouri State University, where he earned a B.S. degree. Mr. Doskocil has been licensed in Missouri and Illinois since 1987. He has taught constitutional law at the St. Charles Police Academy. Mr. Doskocil is a member of The Missouri Bar and Illinois State Bar Association. TIMOTHY E. GROCHOCINSKI is a member of The Simon Law Firm, P.C.'s intellectual property practice group. His practice focuses on patent litigation and other complex commercial and consumer law matters. Mr. Grochocinski is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District courts for the Eastern District of Missouri, Western District of Missouri, Southern District of Illinois, Western District of Wisconsin, Eastern District of Michigan, Eastern District of Texas and the Federal Circuit. Mr. Grochocinski earned his B.S. degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology and his J.D. degree from Saint Louis University School of Law. He is the author of "Intellectual Property in the Workplace" in the 2009 Employment Law Update (Aspen Law & Business, 2009), "Exploring Emerging Issues at the Intersection of Intellectual Property" (Aspen Law & Business, 2010) and "Social Media: The Next Generation of Employment Law Issues" (Aspen Law & Business, 2011). Mr. Grochocinski was named Up & Coming Lawyers by Missouri Lawyers Media in 2010. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, The Missouri Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan Saint Louis and the Illinois State Bar Association. PAUL G. HENRY is a partner in the law firm of Denlow & Henry. Mr. Henry earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Southwest Missouri State University and his J.D. degree from Washington University, St. Louis. He is a highly active member of The Missouri Bar. Mr. Henry currently is a member of the Board of Governors. His efforts on behalf of the The Missouri Bar were recognized when he was awarded the Distinctive Service Award by the Solo and Small Firm Committee of The Missouri Bar. Mr. Henry has served on several committees for The Missouri Bar, including the Paralegal Committee, the Solo and Small Firm Committee and the Committee on Condemnation. He was an associate editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly and is the co-author of "Inverse Condemnation: Airplane Noise and Damages," The Southwestern Legal Foundation, 1995. In addition, Mr. Henry contributed to the Missouri Condemnation Practice Handbook (Third Edition, 2002 Supp.), co-authoring chapters on inverse condemnation and taxation. In the past, he has acted as editor of the American Bar Association Committee on Condemnation Newsletter. Mr. Henry regularly lectures on issues pertaining to condemnation. Another interest of he is the use of computers and technology in the practice of law. Mr. Henry recently held the position of chair of The Missouri Bar Committee on Technology and Computer Law. He has written articles and spoken to legal organizations on this subject matter. Mr. Henry has served as an adjunct professor at Maryville University in St. Louis, teaching an undergraduate course on technology and the practice of law. PAUL L. KNOBBE is a senior attorney with the law firm of Reeg Lawyers, LLC. He practices in the areas of toxic torts, class actions defense, product liability, and personal injury. Mr. Knobbe has previously lectured for National Business Institute and has spoken on civil procedure and a comparison of the Missouri court system's civil vs. criminal procedures for high schools and community groups. He is licensed in Missouri and Illinois. Mr. Knobbe earned his B.S. degree from Maryville University and his J.D. degree from St. Louis University School of Law. He is a member of The Missouri Bar and Illinois State Bar Association.
