ROBERT DENLOW is the principal partner in Denlow & Henry in St. Louis, where he practices in the areas of condemnation, land use law and zoning law. He is a frequent speaker of various condemnation, inverse condemnation and tax increment financing topics. Mr. Denlow has written various articles, including "Business Damages in Eminent Domain," "Missouri Condemnation Law," "Inverse Condemnation and Airplane Noise - Proving and Presenting Damages," "Highest and Best Use-Maximizing and Minimizing Value," and "Tax Increment Financing and the Property Owner." He is the former editor of the American Bar Association's Condemnation Committee's Legal Reporter, co-chairman of the joint American Bar Association-Great Britain Lands Tribunal Condemnation Conference in London in 1995, and has frequently chaired the American Bar Association's annual condemnation seminar. Mr. Denlow is a member of the American (former chairman, Condemnation, Zoning and Land Use Litigation Committee) and Illinois State bar associations, The Missouri Bar (member, Eminent Domain Committee) and The Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. He earned his B.A. degree from Northwestern University and his J.D. degree from St. Louis University. PAUL G. HENRY is a partner in the law firm of Denlow & Henry. He is the chair of the Paralegal Committee of the Missouri Bar Association. Mr. Henry also recently served as chair of the Missouri Bar Condemnation Committee and the Solo and Small Firm Committee. He was an associate editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly and is the co-author of "Inverse Condemnation: Airplane Noise and Damages," The Southwestern Legal Foundation, 1995. In addition, he contributed to the Missouri Condemnation Practice Handbook (Third Edition, 2002 Supp.), co-authoring chapters on inverse condemnation and taxation. In the past, Mr. Henry has acted as editor of the American Bar Association Committee on Condemnation Newsletter. He regularly lectures on issues pertaining to condemnation. Another interest of Mr. Henry is the use of computers and technology in the practice of law. He recently held the position of chair of the Missouri Bar Committee on Technology and Computer Law. Mr. Henry has written articles and spoken to legal organizations on this subject matter. He has served as an adjunct professor at Maryville University in St. Louis, teaching an undergraduate course on technology and the practice of law. Mr. Henry received his undergraduate degree from Southwest Missouri State University and his law degree from Washington University, St. Louis. PAUL J. PURICELLI is a principal in the law firm of Stone, Leyton & Gershman, where he focuses his practice in commercial litigation and eminent domain/condemnation. Mr. Puricelli has been practicing law for 20 years and has tried cases to conclusion for property owners and condemning authorities. He has previously lectured for the Missouri Bar Eminent Domain Practice Group. Mr. Puricelli received his B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. degree (Order of the Coif) from Washington University. He is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, The Missouri Bar and the American and Illinois State Bar Associations. PAUL T. SONDEREGGER is a member of the Thompson Coburn LLP's environmental and real estate and construction litigation practice group. He has represented clients in numerous areas of environmental law and real estate and construction law. Mr. Sonderegger's environmental work focuses on litigation and regulatory compliance matters. In court, he has both prosecuted and defended CERCLA contribution and cost recovery lawsuits, litigation under the Missouri ?Spill Bill,? cases involving Illinois Environmental Protection Act, the federal Clean Water Act, and the Missouri Clean Water Law, as well as common law tort actions and contract disputes. In matters of compliance, Mr. Sonderegger has negotiated with, and handled matters involving, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of the Interior Office of Surface Mining, and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. He has experience involving groundwater issues, both in court and in administrative adjudication, and in the mining industry, regarding environmental land use controls, reclamation implementation and operations, and post-mining land-use. Mr. Sonderegger has participated in every facet of negotiation and litigation, including drafting pleadings and briefs, preparing and arguing complex motions, representing clients during mediations, trying cases in court, and preparing and arguing appeals before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 7th and 8th Circuits, and the Missouri Supreme Court. He also has had much experience in drafting and arguing Daubert motions to exclude expert testimony and motions for summary judgment. Mr. Sonderegger's real estate and construction work has focused on prosecuting and defending eminent domain lawsuits, commercial lease disputes, and complex construction cases. He has worked diligently on many large public projects, including the Cross County MetroLink Extension. With regard to Missouri's 2006 eminent domain reform legislation, Mr. Sonderegger assisted state legislators and private and public stakeholders in reaching consensus on that bill. As with his experience in environmental law, he has participated in all facets of negotiation and litigation of real estate and construction matters, including representing clients during mediation, in court when trying cases, and in preparing and arguing appeals. Mr. Sonderegger earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from Washington University in St. Louis and his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Iowa. JEROME WALLACH is a principal in The Wallach Law Firm in St. Louis, where his primary areas of practice are eminent domain and real property tax appeals. For more than 20 years, he has handled thousands of property tax appeal cases, including real and personal property. Mr. Wallach is a member of the Jefferson County and American (member, Commercial Litigation Section) bar associations, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, The Missouri Bar (chair, Eminent Domain Section), The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Property Tax Counsel.
