CHRISTINE A. ALSOP is principal of The Elder & Disability Advocacy Firm of Christine A. Alsop LLC. Ms. Alsop has extensive elder law experience, as well as significant litigation and advocacy experience. She has provided advice for both institutional and individual fiduciaries. Ms. Alsop regularly represents fiduciaries and family members in contested probate, trust and guardianship matters and fiduciary litigation. She also is experienced in helping families with long-term-care issues, including Medicaid and Veteran's benefits and estate planning, including asset protection and special needs trusts. Ms. Alsop is a member of both The Missouri Bar (chair, Elder Law Committee) and the Illinois State Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Alsop is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and served as chair of the Advocacy and Litigation Section of that organization. She has served as a member of the Board of Directors and as an officer of the local chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Alsop is also a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Academy of Special Needs Planners and the National Association of Medicare Set Aside Professionals. She has served as an expert on issues of lien resolution and Medicare Set Aside arrangements, and frequently assists personal injury attorneys with their clients who have suffered disabilities. Ms. Alsop graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law, where she was honored for her outstanding work in trial advocacy. She is a frequent lecturer before both attorneys and other members of the community on elder law and advocacy issues. DEBBIE CRAGEN is a specialty products consultant at MSA Administrators, LLC in Chesterfield, Missouri. She is dual board-certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from ANCC and AANP (ANP-BC, NP-C). Ms. Cragen has 29 years of nursing experience and 11 years of advanced practice provider experience in the sub-specialty area of cardiology. She is certified in the following medical-legal areas: Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified (MSCC), Certified Medicare Secondary Payer professional (CMSP), Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP) and Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC). Ms. Crage is the recipient of 2011 Top Adult Nurse Practitioner in Indianapolis, Indiana, and National Association of Professional Women 2012-2013 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Cragen earned her MSN and post MSN degrees from Indiana University. AMY COLLIGNON GUNN is a member of The Simon Law Firm, P.C. in St. Louis where she focuses her practice exclusively on plaintiff personal injury work, including product liability, medical negligence, premise liability and motor vehicle accident cases. She earned her J.D. degree, cum laude, from St. Louis University School of Law. Ms. Collignon Gunn has been recognized for her commitment to her clients and the legal community through receipt of the John C. Shepherd Professionalism Award in 2006, the Lon O. Hocker Trial Lawyer Award in 2007, the 40 Under 40 Award presented by the St. Louis Business Journal in 2008 and the Women's Justice Rising Star Award in 2009. She is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois, is a member of numerous bar organizations, and currently serves as a board member of the Women Lawyers' Association of Greater St. Louis and the Board of Governors of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. MICAH H. HUFF is an attorney at the law firm of Martha C. Brown & Associates, LLC. Mr. Huff focuses his practice in elder law; probate, estate and trust litigation; estate planning; Medicaid/long-term care planning; estate/trust administration; tax; business formation; and small business succession planning. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in economics and political science, and received his law degree and LL.M. in taxation from the University of Denver College of Law. He began his career in private practice in 2005 with a small firm in Denver, practicing in the areas of probate, estate administration, estate planning, elder law and probate litigation. He was a member of the Statutory Revisions Subcommittee for the Trusts and Estates Section of the Colorado Bar Association. This submicommittee was in charge of drafting the revised fiduciary misconduct section for the Colorado Probate Court, which became law in Colorado on July 1, 2008. He founded Huff Law, LLC in mid-2007 in Colorado before relocating to Missouri. Mr. Huff is a member of The Missouri Bar; the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis; the St. Charles County Bar Association; the Colorado Bar Association (Estates and Trust Section); and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, including the Missouri Chapter.
