CHRISTINE A. ALSOP is principal of The Elder & Disability Advocacy Firm of Christine A. Alsop. Ms. Alsop has extensive elder law experience, as well as significant litigation and advocacy experience. She has provided advice for both institutional and individual fiduciaries. Ms. Alsop regularly represents fiduciaries and family members in contested probate, trust and guardianship matters and fiduciary litigation. She also is experienced in helping families with long term care issues, including Medicaid and Veteran's Benefits and estate planning, including asset protection and Special Needs Trusts. Ms. Alsop is a member of both The Missouri Bar and the Illinois State Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Alsop is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and serves as chair of the Advocacy and Litigation Section of that organization. She has served as a member of the board of directors and as an officer of the local chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Alsop also is a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. She currently serves as the chair of the Elder Law Committee for The Missouri Bar. Ms. Alsop graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law, where she was honored for her outstanding work in trial advocacy. She is a frequent lecturer before both attorneys and other members of the community on elder law and advocacy issues. JOSEPH G. ILGES is an attorney at The Laiderman Law Firm, P.C., where he focuses his practice in practice in providing counsel to older adults on a wide-range of legal issues primarily related to advising the elderly on how to use public benefits to finance long term care costs. His experience includes issues involving the elderly, estate planning, probate and trust administration, asset preservation planning, conservatorship and guardianship proceedings and special needs planning. Mr. Ilges earned his B.A. degrees from Saint Louis University and his J.D. degree from Saint Louis University School of Law. Before attending law school, he worked in both the healthcare and non-profit sectors, where he dealt with many issues affecting older adults. Mr. Ilges' time spent providing outreach and education to community and healthcare professionals while working for a non-profit reinforced his desire to assist older adults, their legal representatives and caregivers negotiate the unique challenges that arise during the aging process. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). CRAIG S. REDLER is an original shareholder of the Law Offices of Craig S. Redler, an estate planning, tax planning and asset protection law firm serving the St. Louis metropolitan area. Mr. Redler's practice is limited to estate and tax planning, asset protection, wealth preservation planning, estate and trust administration and business planning. Mr. Redler earned his B.S.B.A. degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia and he earned his J.D. degree from the Washington University School of Law. He is admitted to The Missouri Bar and Illinois State Bar Association. He also is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri; the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Illinois; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.
