DANIEL N. ALLMAYER is a shareholder in the Kansas City law firm of Allmayer & Associates, P.C. His main areas of practice are civil trial and appellate with concentration in vehicular defense, premises liability, workers' compensation and insurance coverage. Mr. Allmayer earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Kansas. He has spoken for various professional groups. Mr. Allmayer is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan, Kansas and American bar associations, The Missouri Bar, the Defense Research Institute and the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers. TIMOTHY J. MUDD has been regularly trying lawsuits since 1992. His trial practice focuses primarily in the areas of prosecuting and defending personal injury lawsuits and first-party insurance actions, as well as representing defendants in criminal actions. After spending the first eleven years of his legal career in the law firm setting, in 2003 Mr. Mudd opened his own law practice in Kansas City -- The Mudd Law Firm. He has been a regular contributor and speaker at presentations pertaining to trial advocacy, personal injury lawsuits and insurance litigation. Mr. Mudd is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Missouri, the Army Court of Criminal Appeals, and the state and federal courts of Kansas. He recently prosecuted the successful appeal in Countrywide Home Loans v. Allstate, which effectively ended the practice in Missouri of mortgage companies obtaining windfall-recoveries through foreclosures on fire-damaged properties. Mr. Mudd's professional memberships have included the Defense Research Institute, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel. He currently maintains an active membership in the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Platte County Bar Association and the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Mudd earned his bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Mount Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota, and his law degree from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas. KIRK R. PRESLEY is a shareholder with the law firm Monsees, Miller, Mayer, Presley & Amick, P.C., where his areas of practice focus on products and premises liability, with an emphasis on general aviation litigation. He is licensed in Missouri and California. Mr. Presley is a member of the American Association for Justice and is a past chairman of that organization's Carbon Monoxide Litigation Group. He also is a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and has written numerous articles in a variety of publications, including Trial Magazine, The ATLA Aviation Section newsletter, as well as MATA and KCMBA publications. Mr. Presley is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (past chair, Tort Law Committee), and has delivered numerous CLE presentations on the topics of representing the victims of personal injury and their families. He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2009 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of personal injury litigation. Mr. Presley earned his juris doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, and currently serves the UMKC Law Foundation as a trustee and as co-chair of the law school's capital campaign. KYLE N. ROEHLER is a shareholder in the law firm of Foland, Wickens, Eisfelder, Roper & Hofer, PC. Mr. Roehler has tried cases in Kansas and Missouri. His practice is focused on insurance defense, extra contractual liability, personal injury and products liability litigation. In 2009 and 2010, he was selected by his colleagues in Missouri and Kansas as a "Rising Star" in personal injury defense, an honor that was recognized in Super Lawyers. Mr. Roehler is an active member of the Defense Research Institute and the Property Loss Research Bureau/Liability Insurance Research Bureau. Frequently, he presents at PLRB conferences, Kansas Claims Association meetings and at other events on bad faith claims, products liability and construction defect claims.
