KATHARYN B. DAVIS is an attorney in the St. Louis law firm of Katharyn B. Davis LLC, where her main areas of practice include landlord/tenant law, foreclosures, collections and real estate. She is the author of the monthly column "Law of the Land" in the St. Louis Daily Record, the St. Louis Countian and the St. Peters Courier Post. Ms. Davis earned her B.A. degree from Allegheny College and her J.D. degree from Washington University. PETER D. KERTH is of counsel with the St. Louis law firm of Jenkins & Kling, PC., where he practices in the areas of bankruptcy, collections, banks and banking, commercial real estate, debtor/creditor law, finance, mortgages, and litigation. Mr. Kerth frequently lectures on debtor/creditor, secured transactions and bankruptcy topics for a number of organizations, including The Missouri Bar and the University of Missouri Law School Continuing Legal Education program. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Connecticut College and his J.D. degree from the University of Chicago. Mr. Kerth is a member of The Missouri Bar and the St. Louis Bar Association. JEFFREY T. WEISMAN is the managing partner with the law firm of Shapiro & Weisman, L.C., concentrating his practice in the areas of creditors' rights, real estate, landlord-tenant law, general litigation, bankruptcy and foreclosures. Mr. Weisman wrote the "Chapter 11 Foreclosure Section," along with all updates of Missouri Practice. He has been recognized by The Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers for the years 2003 through 2008. A cum laude graduate of Boston University, Mr. Weisman earned his J.D. degree from St. Louis University School of Law and his LL.M. degree from Washington University School of Law. He is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. CYNTHIA WOOLVERTON is a shareholder in the St. Louis law firm of Millsap & Singer, P.C., where she joined the firm in 1998 and manages the firm's bankruptcy practice. She earned her undergraduate degree from Northeast Missouri State University and her law degree from St. Louis University. Ms. Woolverton interned for Chief Judge James J. Barta of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and is a recipient of the 1998 Medal of Excellence in Bankruptcy from the American Bankruptcy Institute. She is licensed in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas and is a member of The Missouri Bar and the Illinois State, Kansas, St. Louis County and American bar associations. Ms. Woolverton also frequently speaks on topics relating to foreclosure and bankruptcy practices and procedures for mortgage servicing and attorney organizations.
