TIMOTHY J. AHRENHOERSTERBAEUMER is an attorney in the law firm of McCarthy, Leonard & Kaemmerer, L.C., where he represents clients in all aspects of civil litigation with an emphasis on matters pertaining to insurance defense and insurance coverage. He has defended many personal injury actions and cases involving allegations of consumer fraud and violations of the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act. Mr. Ahrenhoersterbaeumer has successfully tried cases in both the St. Louis City and St. Louis County Courts. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Missouri and his J.D. degree from the St. Louis University School of Law. JESSICA L. HAWKINS s an attorney in the law firm of HeplerBroom LLC, where she practices a variety of litigation in state and federal court, including complex commercial litigation, business torts, insurance, banking and credit litigation, and personal injury defense. Her practice also includes representation of both creditors and debtors in all aspects of debtor-creditor relationships, including work out, litigation and bankruptcy. In addition, her representation has included foreclosure and enforcement of creditors' rights. She has assisted in the representation of banks and other financial institutions in commercial lending transactions and regulatory matters on a state and federal basis. Ms. Hawkins also has gained extensive experience in coverage issues on insurance claims as well as bank surety law related to letters of credit and enforcement of same. She received her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Truman State University and her J.D. degree from Washington University of St. Louis School of Law. CHRISTOPHER P. LERITZ is a partner with Leritz, Plunkert & Bruning, P.C., where he focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, fire insurance, subrogation, insurance coverage, products liability, medical malpractice, personal injury, litigation, defense and litigation, construction litigation, real estate litigation, fire and explosive litigation, manufactured housing law, recreational vehicle products liability and trucking defense. Mr. Leritz is a frequent lecturer and has been a previous speaker for National Business Institute. He received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, and his J.D. degree from St. Louis University. Mr. Leritz is a member of The Missouri Bar and The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. JAMES C. OWEN is a partner at the law office of McCarthy, Leonard & Kaemmerer, L.C. He has been practicing law since 1981 and currently practices in insurance insolvency, reinsurance and commercial litigation. Mr. Owen earned his B.A. degree, with honors, and his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, St. Louis County Bar Association, The Missouri Bar, the Missouri Trial Lawyers Association and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Owen also is admitted to practice for the New York State Bar Association. ANDREW D. RYAN is a shareholder of Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard P.C., and is the products liability practice group leader. Mr. Ryan has successfully tried cases to judges and juries in state and federal courts throughout Missouri and Southern Illinois, both as lead trial counsel and as the second chair attorney. He also has argued in the appellate courts of Missouri and Illinois, including an appearance before the Missouri Supreme Court. Mr. Ryan has represented both manufacturers and distributors of automobiles, industrial equipment, recreational vehicles, medical devices and other products. He also has defended motor carriers in cases involving the condition of tractor-trailers and alleged violations of federal motor carrier regulations. Mr. Ryan's experience further includes mass tort litigation defense involving EPA Superfund Sites, welding consumables, asbestos and pharmaceutical products. Mr. Young earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Washington University and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, valedictorian, from St. Louis University. He also has earned the excellence award for commercial transactions, business associations, health care provider liability, legal profession and civil procedure II. Mr. Young is a former staff member for the St. Louis University Law Journal (2000-2001). He was selected as Best Student Work in Volume 45 of the St. Louis University Law Journal.
