CHRISTOPHER KARLEN is a partner in the St. Louis law firm of Growe, Eisen, Karlen, LLC, where his areas of practice include civil litigation with an emphasis on family law (including dissolutions of marriage, legal separations, adoptions and pre- and post-nuptial agreements), general commercial and business litigation and personal injury law. He served as counsel in a significant federal wiretapping case, Kempf v. Kempf, and in a significant child support case, Mehra v. Mehra. Mr. Karlen has previously lectured on family law issues. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Cincinnati and his J.D. degree from Washington University. MORHAUS is a principal in the firm of Anders Minkler & Diehl LLP's forensic and valuation services group. As an expert witness, he has helped clients and law firms succeed in various legal matters. Mr. Morhaus also has experience in most types of business ownership interests, including common stock, preferred stock, ownership units, member units, partnership interests, debt instruments and derivative securities. He also has valued intangible assets related to marketing, technology, customers, contracts and human capital. Mr. Morhaus joined Anders Minkler & Diehl LLP as a manager in 2006. His specialties include business valuations, FAS 141 purchase price allocations, intellectual property valuation, income tax valuation, debt instrument valuations, litigation support and expert testimony, FAS 142 goodwill impairment testing, economic damages and lost profit, gift and estate tax valuation and financial derivatives. Mr. Morhaus is a certified public accountant with the state of Missouri, Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), each awarded by AICPA, an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) awarded by ASA and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) awarded by NACVA. He earned his B.S. degree from Truman State University. Mr. Morhaus is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Society of Appraisers (past president and secretary of the St. Louis Chapter), the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (member of the Business Valuation Committee) and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He also is the editorial advisor for the Journal of Accountancy and a member of the Technical Advisory Board for the FVS Consulting Digest, an AICPA sponsored publication focusing on forensic and valuation services. GREG L. ROBERTS is a partner in The Roberts Law Firm, P.C., in Chesterfield, where he has focused his practice in the areas of family law and civil litigation since 1982. He has been a member of several professional organizations such as the Organizing Committee of the St. Louis County Family Court and the Board of Directors of Kids In The Middle. Mr. Roberts is currently a member of the State Committee of Martial and Family Therapists. He has spoken at numerous seminars delivered on a variety of legal topics to the public, law students and practicing attorneys. Mr. Roberts is a past president of the St. Louis County Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree at the University of Missouri and his J.D. degree at the University of Missouri at Columbia School of Law. CHARLES E.N. ROSENE is owner of the Law Office of Charles Rosene and is an attorney at Macey & Aleman, P.C. He focuses his practice in bankruptcy and personal injury law. Mr. Rosene has previously lectured for local groups on estate planning and identity theft issues, including the AARP. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Missouri in St. Louis, and his J.D. degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego.
