RICHARD A. ABRAMS is an attorney in St. Louis, practicing in the areas of commercial litigation, collections and landlord-tenant law. He has spoken on collections, creditors' rights and landlord/tenant issues before many professional groups. Mr. Abrams earned his A.B. and J.D. degrees from Washington University. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the American Bar Association (member, Litigation Section) and the Commercial Law League of America. JAMES N. FENDELMAN is a managing member with Fendelman, Paull & Associates, where he practices in the areas of commercial litigation and debtor-creditor law. He earned his A.B. degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. degree from Washington University. Mr. Fendelman is a member of The Missouri Bar and the Illinois State Bar Association. He has been in practice for more than 17 years. PETER D. KERTH is a member of the St. Louis law firm of Gallop, Johnson & Neuman, where he practices in the areas of bankruptcy, collections, banks and banking, commercial real estate, debtor/creditor law, finance, mortgages, and litigation. He frequently lectures on debtor/creditor, secured transactions and bankruptcy topics for a number of organizations, including The Missouri Bar and the University of Missouri Law School Continuing Legal Education program. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Connecticut College and his J.D. degree from the University of Chicago. Mr. Kerth is a member of The Missouri Bar and the St. Louis Bar Association. JEFFREY T. WEISMAN is a partner with the law firm of Shapiro & Weisman, L.C., concentrating his practice in the areas of creditors' rights, real estate, landlord-tenant law, general litigation, bankruptcy and foreclosures. Mr. Weisman wrote a book titled A Creditor's Guide to Bankruptcy. He also co-wrote the "Chapter 11 Foreclosure Section," along with all updates, of Missouri Practice. Mr. Weisman has been recognized for the years 2003 through 2007 by The Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. A cum laude graduate of Boston University, Mr. Weisman earned his J.D. degree from St. Louis University School of Law and his LL.M. degree from Washington University School of Law. He is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
