BARTHOLOMEW J. BAUMSTARK is an attorney in the O'Brien Law Firm. He has practiced as a criminal prosecutor, a criminal defense attorney in federal prosecutions, and as a plaintiff's lawyer representing injured railroad workers under the Federal Employers' Liability Act. Since 2003, he has devoted his time and effort to representing the victims of mesothelioma and other asbestos diseases. Mr. Baumstark received his A.B. degree from the College of the Holy Cross St. Louis University, and received his J.D. degree, cum laude, in 1996 from St. Louis University School of Law. BEHNEN is a shareholder in the law firm of Polsinelli Shughart PC, where she focuses her practice in the defense of lawsuits involving products liability, premises liability and toxic torts. She is the vice-chair of the firms Toxic and Mass Tort practice group and serves as regional and local counsel for several major asbestos defendants. Ms. Behnen also represents clients in state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois. She has extensive litigation experience in cases involving asbestos, benzene, perchloroethylene, chrome and other industry exposures. Her clients include automotive manufacturers and parts suppliers, manufacturers of transport trailers, pumps and other industrial equipment, contractors and premise owners. A.J. BRONSKY is principal in the law office of Brown & James, P.C. whre he focuses his practice in professional liability and toxic torts. Mr. Bronsky practices in the firm's St. Louis office and routinely lectures and writes articles on medical and legal malpractice and insurance law. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from St. Louis University and his J.D. degree from Washington University. Mr. Bronsky is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the St. Clair County Bar Association. He is admitted to the Bars in Missouri, Illinois, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. WILLIAM A. KOHLBURN is a member of the Simmons Browder Glanaris Angelides & Barnerd LLC's asbestos litigation team, where he concentrates his efforts in the areas of appeals, motions and defendant discovery. He became associated with the Simmons Browder Glanaris Angelides & Barnerd LLC in 2001. Mr. Kohlburn attended the University of Illinois and graduated fourth in his class from the Washington University in Saint Louis School of Law. He has been involved in mass tort litigation since the early 1990's. PAUL E. PETRUSKA is a partner with the St. Louis, Missouri, law firm of Williams, Venker & Sanders LLC, where his areas of practice include asbestos litigation, products liability, employment discrimination and construction. He has substantial experience as a trial lawyer in many areas of civil litigation. In addition to his trial work, he serves as an adjunct professor at Saint Louis University School of Law while coaching the school's mock trial team. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from St. Louis University. Mr. Petruska has been named as an "Up & Coming Lawyer" in 2009 by Missouri Lawyers Weekly, and Who's Who in America® (2009) and Who's Who in American Law® (2009). MARK ZELLMER is a partner in the law firm Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP, where his areas of practice include business litigation, products liability and toxic torts. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree from Saint Louis University.
