BARTHOLOMEW J. BAUMSTARK is a partner with the O'Brien Law Firm, where he has practiced since 2003. He has previously practiced as a criminal prosecutor, a criminal defense attorney in federal prosecutions, and as a plaintiff's lawyer representing injured railroad workers under the Federal Employers' Liability Act. He devotes 100% of his time and effort to representing the victims of mesothelioma and other asbestos disease. BEHNEN is a shareholder in the law firm of Polsinelli Shughart PC, where she focuses her practice in the defense of lawsuits involving products liability, premises liability and toxic torts. She is the vice-chair of the firms toxic and mass tort practice group, and serves as regional and local counsel for several major asbestos defendants. Ms. Behnen also represents clients in state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois. SANDRA COOK is a senior associate in the law firm of Brown and James, P.C., where she focuses her practice in environmental insurance/toxic torts, premises and retail liability, and transportation. Ms. Cook was named a 2011 Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers magazine. She received her B.S. degree, cum laude, from Southern Illinois University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Southern Illinois University. Ms. Cook is also a master sergeant for the United States Marine Corps, retired (1979-2001). Her previous legal experience includes being a judge's clerk and legal chief while serving in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Kohlburn attended the University of Illinois and graduated fourth in his class from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. He has been involved in mass tort litigation since the early 1990's. MAUREEN A. McGLYNN is a member in the law firm of Kortenhof McGlynn LLC, where she focuses her practice in product liability litigation, toxic torts, premises and contractor liability, and warranty law. She received her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from St. Louis University and her J.D. degree, valedictorian, magna cum laude, from St. Louis University School of Law. GREGORY C. MOLLETT is an officer in the litigation and environmental practice groups, and head of the environmental group and real estate litigation sub group for Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. He represents clients in real estate, environmental and commercial litigation. As part of his real estate practice, Mr. Mollett represents and counsels real estate developers, property owners and property managers. His practice involves risk assessment, counseling and litigation of sales, and lease relationships. Mr. Mollett has litigated rent and possession, unlawful detainer, forcible entry and detainer, condemnation, inverse condemnation, and private takings cases. He earned his B.S. degree from Central Washington University, his M.B.A. degree from City University, and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois. He has extensive experience in some of the country's most challenging venues, including the city of St. Louis, Missouri, and Madison County and St. Clair County, Illinois. In the field of asbestos, Mr. Voss has successfully argued complex motions, in particular motions to dismiss and motions to dismiss based on forum non conveniens; taken hundreds of depositions, including depositions of plaintiffs, plaintiffs' fact witnesses, treating physicians and expert witnesses; and prepared asbestos matters for trial.
