STUART C. BEAR is a partner in the law firm of Chestnut Cambronne PA. His practice emphasizes succession planning for individuals and businesses including estate, disability, medical assistance planning and real estate. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota and his J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Mr. Bear is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association Elder Law Governing Council and the Hennepin County Bar Association (Real Estate and Probate Law sections). He is a frequent lecturer at legal education seminars and for community organizations on the topic of estate and succession planning. JOHN R. BEDOSKY currently maintains a solo law practice and continues to consult law firms and other financial advisers on the development of organizational communication, wealth protection, wealth enhancement and financial engineering strategies to facilitate each client's quality of life, ability to attract and enjoy wealth and abundance and accomplish the transfer of business and other financial assets to subsequent generations and charitable entities. Mr. Bedosky has specific expertise in the area of wealth accumulation, protections, management and distribution and assists individuals in creating, maintaining, growing and enjoying their money, wealth and prosperity. A frequent lecturer at professional conferences, Mr. Bedosky has been an adjunct professor of law at William Mitchell College of Law and at the University of Minnesota Law School where he developed and taught courses in federal wealth transfer tax and advanced estate planning in the Masters in Business Taxation program. He is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota State and American bar associations. Mr. Bedosky is a former chair of the Probate Council of the Minnesota State Bar Association and a member of the Council's Education Committee. He has obtained a B.S. degree in business administration (finance concentration) from Villanova University, a J.D. degree from Syracuse University College of Law and an LL.M. degree in estate planning from the University of Miami School of Law. ROBERT A. LaFLEUR is a partner with Chestnut Cambronne PA, where he heads the tax law practice group and also is active in estate planning and representing the needs of businesses. Mr. LaFleur is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education seminars and for community organizations on the topic of estate and succession planning. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Augsburg College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law. He is an active member of the Hennepin County and Minnesota State bar associations, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants. TERRIE M. LEWIS is the principal shareholder of Terrie Lewis Law Office, P.A., practicing in the areas of medical assistance planning, estate planning, incapacity planning and elder law, including guardianships and conservatorships. Ms. Lewis has published two articles on financial abuse of the elderly and pain management in the elderly. She also has written articles for the Elder Law Newsletter and has taught elder law at Hamline University. Ms. Lewis is a frequent speaker for the Minnesota State Bar Association continuing education program and for business organizations in the Twin Cities area. She received her undergraduate degree in business education from Winona State University and her Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law. RODNEY J. MASON practices in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he and his associate focus in the areas of will contest, probate disputes and litigation involving trust administration and other issues involving inheritance. Mr. Mason has lectured for a variety of continuing legal education seminars on his areas of expertise, including "Avoiding the Midas Curse," a litigator's perspective for the Minnesota State Bar. He has been an adjunct professor at Bethel University and Northwest University for business law and he has more than 30 years of experience as a trial attorney. Mr. Mason earned his B.A. degree from the University of Southern California and his J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Minnesota and before the U.S. Supreme Court as well as all federal courts in the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and the District of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Real Property, Probate and Trust Section) and its Committee on Emotional and Psychological Aspects of Estate Planning, the Minnesota State Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. DAVID A. REPHAN is a partner at Chestnut Cambronne PA. In his 18 years of practicing law, he has focused primarily in the areas of elder law, disability law (including special needs trust law), government benefits law, and veterans law. He has successfully litigated class actions and individual actions on behalf of government benefits recipients. Mr. Rephan also has participated in successful legislative initiatives to increase the rights of persons appealing to the Minnesota Department of Human Services, as well as other rights of government benefits recipients. He earned his B.A. degree from Yeshiva University and his J.D. degree from Touro Law School. Mr. Rephan is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Minnesota State Bar Association (Probate and Trust Law and Elder Law sections). He also has taught at numerous legal and community education seminars.
