BARBARA M. KRISTIANSSON is an estate planning attorney with the law firm of Felhaber, Larson, Fenlon & Vogt, P.A. Ms. Kristiansson has focused her practice in the areas of estate planning and estate administration since 2004. Prior to joining Felhaber, Larson, Fenlon & Vogt, PA, she worked in the areas of accounting, estate tax, and estate settlement. MASON practices in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he and his associate focus in the areas of will contest, probate disputes and litigation involving trust administration and other issues involving inheritance. Mr. Mason has lectured for a variety of continuing legal education seminars on his areas of expertise, including “Avoiding the Midas Curse,” a litigator's perspective for the Minnesota State Bar Association. He has been an adjunct professor at Bethel University and Northwest University for business law and has more than 30 years of experience as a trial attorney. Mr. Mason earned his B.A. degree from the University of Southern California and his J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Minnesota, and before the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as all federal courts in the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and the District of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Real Property, Probate and Trust Section) and its Committee on Emotional and Psychological Aspects of Estate Planning, the Minnesota State Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. SCOTT M. NELSON is an attorney in the Minneapolis law firm of Lommen, Abdo, Cole, King & Stageberg, P.A., where his areas of practice are estate planning, probate, taxation, closely held business law, business succession planning, family business law, wealth preservation and elder law. The firm has a Hudson, Wisconsin, office where Mr. Nelson is also licensed to practice. He earned his B.S. degree from St. John's University and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the University of Minnesota Law School. Mr. Nelson is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota State and American bar associations, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and several professional and nonprofit organizations. ROBERT L. RICHERT is an attorney with the Minneapolis law firm of Lapp, Libra, Thomson, Stoebner & Pusch, Chtd. He focuses his practice primarily in the area of estate planning and probate, including trusts and wills, probate litigation, business planning, asset protection, and real estate law. Mr. Richert also practices in the areas of guardianship and conservatorship, civil litigation/arbitration, and purchase and sale of business interests. He was an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law from 1998 to 2000, where he taught legal research and writing.
