LISA R. GRIEBEL is a founding partner of Terhaar, Archibald, Pfefferle& Griebel, LLP, where her areas of practice include construction contracts, law and litigation, as well as the defense of personal injury claims, including wrongful death, property damage and commercial claims. Ms. Griebel has worked with the American Cancer Society and the Volunteer Lawyers Network, providing pro bono advice on employment and insurance issues. She also has served as a Board Member and Officer with the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association since 2004. Ms. Griebel has spoken at numerous seminars for such organizations as the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association, the Minnesota Safety Council, the American Cancer Society, Minnesota Homes for the Aging, National Business Institute and HalfMoon LLC. She is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin, as well as before the Minnesota Federal Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit. Ms. Griebel is a member of the American (member, Forum on the Construction Industry and Litigation sections), Minnesota State (member, Labor and Employment, and Construction Law sections) and Hennepin County (officer and board member) bar associations, the Minnesota Defense Lawyer's Association and the Defense Research Institute. She earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the College of St. Benedict and her J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from the William Mitchell College of Law. ALLISON R. HALEY is an attorney with the firm Johnson & Condon, P.A., where she concentrates her civil litigation practice in the areas of commercial litigation and general liability. She is admitted to practice in the state courts of Minnesota, as well as before the Minnesota Supreme Court. Ms. Haley is a member of the Minnesota State and Hennepin County bar associations and the National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals. She is the co-author of Municipal Tort Liability and Subrogation in Minnesota, and has lectured on the topic of Medicare set-asides. Ms. Haley earned her B.A. degree, with distinction, from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. SEAN J. MICKELSON is a partner with Terhaar, Archibald, Pfefferle & Griebel, LLP, where he practices primarily in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on serving the insurance industry with insurance defense work and rendering opinions and advice concerning insurance coverage issues. He has tried cases relating to commercial vehicle and non-commercial vehicle accident and cargo litigation, insurance coverage and personal injury. Mr. Mickelson also is the author of several papers related to civil litigation and the insurance industry. He is a member of the Minnesota State, Hennepin County and Wisconsin bar associations, the State Bar Association of North Dakota, and the Minnesota Defense Lawyer's Association. Mr. Mickelson is admitted to practice in Minnesota Federal Court and Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota state courts. He earned his B.A. degree from the College of St. Thomas and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the William Mitchell College of Law, where he served as Editor of the William Mitchell Law Review. CATHRYN REHER is a shareholder with the firm of Long, Reher, & Hanson, P.A., where she assists clients in the areas of medical assistance and veterans' homes planning, trusts, wills, real estate, advance decisions regarding health care, nursing home issues, long-term care alternatives, and surrogate management of financial and personal matters. She has been named to Law and Politics Top 40 in Trust, Estate Planning and Elder Law, as one of the top 50 female attorneys by Minnesota Law and Politics, and one of the top five Elder Law Super Lawyers in Minnesota. Ms. Reher is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Special Needs Alliance and the Minnesota State Bar Association (past secretary, Elder Law Governing Council; member, Elder Law, Real Estate and Probate and Trust sections). She serves as Chair of the Medical Assistance Committee of the Elder Law Section. Ms. Reher earned her J.D. degree, with high honors, from Hamline University School of Law. BRIAN P. THOMPSON is an attorney with Johnson & Condon, P.A. He defends employers, insurers and self-insured employers in all aspects of workers' compensation litigation. Mr. Thompson has represented his clients before the Department of Labor & Industry, the Office of Administrative Hearings, the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals and the Minnesota Supreme Court. Prior to joining Johnson & Condon, P.A., he practiced workers' compensation defense litigation at a Twin Cities law firm, where he was also involved in workers' compensation legislative reform. Mr. Thompson graduated from St. Olaf College and earned his J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law. He is admitted to practice in the Minnesota state courts. Mr. Thompson is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Ramsey County Bar Association.
