VALERIE BRITTON is a supervisory attorney at the Social Security Administration, Office of Disability and Adjudication and Review, and has been employed there since 1982. She works with 12 administrative law judges, 23 attorneys and paralegals, and support staff to ensure that the office produces legally defensible decisions as expeditiously as possible. Ms. Britton worked on a national training cadre for support staff as a teacher, and spent one year on detail to the Social Security headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia, working on the electronic file system and procedures. She earned her undergraduate degree at Mankato State College and her J.D. degree from the William Mitchell College of Law. Ms. Britton is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association. ANDREW E. KLINE founded the law firm of Andrew E. Kline, Attorney at Law, in 1981. The firm specializes in Social Security disability law, as well as the interaction between Social Security disability benefits and workers' compensation benefits. Prior to his entry into private practice, Mr. Kline was an attorney advisor for Social Security's Office of Hearings and Appeals for more than four years, and has 33 years of experience in the Social Security disability field. Mr. Kline is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. EDWARD C. OLSON is a sole practitioner in the law firm of Edward C.
