GEORGE ADAM is a licensed neurologist with the Veteran's Administration Medical Center and Neurology Specialists, LLC. He earned his undergraduate from the University of Toronto, and attended Medical School and the University of Ottawa. Dr. Adam is licensed with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and the DEA. His current hospital affiliations are with Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, Minnesota and the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Adam is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the Medical Council of Canada. His professional interests are in brain injury, multiple sclerosis, headache and pain management, and movement disorders. Dr. Adam speaks both English and Hungarian. ROBERT D. BOEDIGHEIMER is the founder of Boedigheimer Law Firm, P.A. in Bloomington, Minnesota. He practices in personal injury, including automobile injuries, medical malpractice, construction injuries, premises liability, dram shop and wrongful death. Mr. Boedigheimer also litigates in the area of employment law including discrimination, whistleblower and contract law. He has handled and won numerous notable jury trials and has settled and/or obtained several verdicts of over a million dollars. Mr. Boedigheimer earned his B.A. degree, with distinction, from the University of Minnesota at Morris and his J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis. Mr. Boedigheimer has lectured previously on expert witnesses, UM/UIM and evidence. He was law clerk to the Honorable Lynn C. Olson, 10th Judicial District, State of Minnesota from 1989 to 1990. Mr. Boedigheimer is a member of the Dakota County, Washington County, Minnesota State (member, Civil Litigation and Labor Employment Law sections) and American (member, Litigation Section) bar associations, The American Association for Justice (AAJ) and the Minnesota Association for Justice (MAJ). MARK COOK, PT, PhD,received his doctorate in anatomy from Michigan State University in 1992. After spending five years as a faculty member at California State University, he went back to school to earn a degree in physical therapy. Dr. Cook worked for 12 years in physical therapy, evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient clinic for a variety of orthopedic injuries and dysfunctions. He continues to see patients on a limited basis. Dr. Cook has been a faculty member at the University of Minnesota since 2000 and teaches anatomy to medical students (and residents), dental students and undergraduates. He also participates in community outreach programs such as the Mini-Medical School seminar series, where he has the opportunity give lectures to the general public regarding such topics as Commonly Injured Joints and Orthopedic Anatomy. He also works with several medical device companies in the Twin Cities, providing anatomical, procedural and product consultation. He recently authored a chapter of the Handbook of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, and Devices. Dr. Cook is an active member of the American Association of Anatomists, American Association of Clinical Anatomists and American Physical Therapy Association. EDWARD W. KELLY joined Minnesota Orthopaedic Specialists, now a part of Twin Cities Orthopedics in 2002. He has published several papers and is fellowship trained in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and elbow. He has a certificate of added qualifications in sports medicine and has served as a board member for the Minnesota Sports Medicine Fellowship Program since 2006. Dr. Kelly graduated from the University of St. Thomas. He attended Mayo Medical School and completed a tour in the United States Navy serving as a General Medical Officer. After leaving the Navy, Dr. Kelly returned to the Mayo Clinic to complete his orthopedic surgery training. Following his residency, he traveled to Melbourne, Australia where he completed a shoulder, elbow, and sports medicine fellowship. SUSIE McGREGOR-HUYER has been involved in healthcare since 1990, first as a paramedic, then as a nurse. Ms. McGregor-Huyer completed her BSN in 1998 and her MSN in 2001, gaining significant experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings in a variety of roles. In 1993, she began hospice work, where she eventually moved into leadership roles, including four years of administration work. Ms. McGregor-Huyer has been active as an affiliate faculty member teaching undergraduate and graduate community nursing online for four years. Her years of nursing experience have currently led to consulting, where she now provides legal nurse consulting services and nursing education consulting services in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Ms. McGregor-Huyer's legal nurse consulting practice specializes in products liability, personal injury, medical malpractice and nursing home negligence cases, where she provides attorneys and their team with a "medical" interpretation and perspective on their cases. She holds a certification as a legal nurse consultant, and is a hospice and palliative care nurse. Ms. McGregor-Huyer is active in the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants and in the American Holistic Nurses Association. She is managing member of the Juris Education Resource and Legal Nurse Consulting. DAVID M. SCHULTZ is the founder and medical director of MAPS Medical Pain Clinics and MAPS Applied Research Center (MARC). He is a board-certified anesthesiologist with additional board-certification in pain management from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians (ABIPP) and the American Board of Pain Medicine (ABPM). Dr. Schultz has been a full-time interventional pain specialist since 1995 and is an adjunct professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Minnesota. He is a board member and past president of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) and is an instructor for ASIPP and for the International Spinal Injection Society (ISIS). Dr. Schultz is a board examiner for ABIPP. He is a prolific author of medical articles and book chapters, a frequent speaker at national meetings and is a primary investigator in pain research
