ROBERT J. HAUER is the founding partner in the Minneapolis law firm of Hauer, Fargione, Love, Landy & McEllistrem, P.A., where he practices in the area of personal injury litigation, plaintiff only. He is an adjunct professor at St. Thomas University Law School. Mr. Hauer has written numerous articles related to uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage and personal injury. He has spoken to PROSOURCE, NASP, MSBA, Twin Cities Claims Association, Preferred One, Twin Cities Insurance Club, Washington County Bar and several other professional groups. He earned his B.A. degree from St. Thomas College and his J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota. Mr. Hauer is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Minnesota Trial Lawyers and The American Association for Justice. He also is past president of Central Minnesota Legal Services. DARREN HEPPER is a chemical engineer and attorney with more than five years of experience within process engineering. He is a team leader within the catastrophic loss group, safety, toxic tort, and environmental group and product liability group. Mr. Hepper is certified as HAZWOPER (Pro Board) 1910.120(q), Fuel Gas CETP (National Propane Gas Association) and Incident Command. ALEXANDER JADIN is currently a senior associate and joined Hanson Lulic & Krall, LLC, in December 2006. Prior to becoming a senior associate, Mr. Jadin worked as an associate and law clerk with Hanson Lulic & Krall, LLC. His work is focused in the area of auto and property subrogation. He handles losses that are the result of fire, water, wind, installation and product defect. Mr. Jadin has written and presented on various subrogation topics, including plaintiff's subrogation strategy and spoliation. While attending the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Mr. Jadin earned his B.A. degree in finance, his B.A. degree in legal studies in business and his J.D. degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association and the National Association of Subrogation Professionals. Mr. Jadin is admitted to the Minnesota State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. MATTHEW M. JOHNSON is an attorney at Johnson & Condon, P.A., where he concentrates his practice on the defense and coverage issues raised in commercial and personal liability claims. Through his corporate client representation, which includes major hotel and car rental companies, Mr. Johnson has addressed a variety of claims involving automobile, premises, liquor and products liability matters. He also defends policyholders on a variety of commercial and personal lines matters including construction, Minnesota's No-Fault Act, and general casualty claims. Mr. Johnson's insurer representation focuses on automobile, homeowners and commercial coverage issues. In addition, he identifies and pursues a variety of subrogation opportunities which arise for these clients. Mr. Johnson is a frequent lecturer on a number of topics including Minnesota's No-Fault Act, insurance fraud, liquor liability, Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Minnesota Fair Claims Practices Act. He has received numerous "Rising Star" recognitions by his peers in Minnesota Law & Politics magazine. He earned his B.A. degree from the College of St. Thomas and his J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and before the Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, the Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys, an associate member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States, and is a no-fault arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. TONY R. KRALL is a partner with the Minneapolis law firm of Hanson Lulic & Krall, LLC, where his area of practice is insurance litigation. He has spent a large part of his career handling large loss and catastrophe litigation, including fires and explosions, product liability, property and casualty litigation. Mr. Krall has handled a range of complex insurance coverage disputes. He is often called upon to go to fire scenes and take control of fire investigation to protect his clients' interests. He has substantial trial experience, having tried cases in state courts throughout the midwest and in federal court. Mr. Krall also has substantial experience in all methods of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), both as a participant as well as a neutral. He frequently speaks on a variety of topics, including arson, fraud, mold and water losses and the handling of catastrophic losses for a number of organizations. Mr. Krall earned his B.S. degree, with honors, from the University of Wisconsin and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Hamline University. Mr. Krall is a member of the Ramsey County and Minnesota State bar associations, the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association and the International Association of Arson Investigators, Minnesota Chapter. RUSSELL D. MELTON is a nuclear engineer, metallurgical engineer, and attorney with graduate studies in human factors engineering. He has more than 14 years of experience in design engineering, production engineering, division management and corporate risk management. Mr. Melton is the group leader of the catastrophic loss group with his firm and co-leader of both the product liability and safety and toxic tort and environmental groups. He holds certifications as HAZWOPER (Pro Board) 1910.120(q), Fuel Gas CETP (National Propane Gas Association), Safety Officer, Branch Officer, Radiation Officer and Incident Command. ANDREW J. RORVIG is an attorney with Hauer, Fargione, Love, Landy & McEllistrem, P.A., where he has collaborated in writing materials for the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association. He was recently invited to attend the National Institute for Trial Advocacy's Teacher Training Program. He is a member of the Hennepin County and Minnesota State bar associations, and the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Rorvig is admitted to the Minnesota State Bar Association and the U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota and his J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Prior to attending law school, he worked for a Minnesota state senator and served in the Consumer Division of the Minnesota Attorney General's Office. As a law student, Mr. Rorvig was a two-time CALI award winner for excellent achievement in the study of various areas of the law. In addition to academics, he was active in other endeavors during law school. He prosecuted misdemeanor crimes in Ramsey County, served as a voting member of the curriculum committee and chaired a student political organization for two consecutive years.
