ROBERT A. LaFLEUR is a partner in the Minneapolis law firm of Chestnut & Cambronne PA, practicing primarily in the areas of tax law, business organizations, probate and estate planning. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Augsburg College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law. He is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota State and American bar associations; the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants; and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. WILLIAM P. WASSWEILER is a partner in the Minneapolis firm of Lindquist & Vennum PLLP, where he is in the firm's Bankruptcy and Creditors' Remedies Practice Group. He represents banks and other secured lenders, mortgage companies, equipment-finance companies, indenture trustees, unsecured creditors and lessors. Mr. Wassweiler's areas of experience include bankruptcy and workouts; creditors' rights litigation, such as breach of contract, replevin, garnishment and other state law remedies; UCC and other real estate litigation; commercial and consumer foreclosures and lease disputes; and consumer credit litigation involving truth-in-lending laws and other federal and state consumer statutes. Mr. Wassweiler earned his B.B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law. Before earning his J.D. degree, he was a certified public accountant for several years at a large international accounting firm. Mr. Wassweiler is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association (immediate past president, Bankruptcy Section; member and past chair, Pro Bono Committee) the American Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also is a former chair of the Bankruptcy Institute Planning Committee. Mr. Wassweiler was honored as a Super Lawyer by Minnesota Law & Politics, 2006 - 2007.
