CHRISTOPHER J. BERRY is a partner in the Bloomfield Hills law firm of Witzke Berry PLLC. Mr. Berry practices in the areas of estate planning, business, probate and elder law. He has been a lecturer, speaker and writer on estate planning topics. Mr. Berry has co-authored a nationally released book, Estate Planning Strategies, which gives practical information that addresses common estate planning concerns. He also has contributed to and was quoted in The Complete Guide to Organizing Your Records for Estate Planning by John N. Peragine, Jr. In addition to his written work, Mr. Berry also has spoken and taught numerous financial advisors on advanced estate planning techniques, including stand alone retirement plan trusts that force the stretch out of IRAs. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), ElderCounsel, the Elder Care Alliance Matters and the National Care Planning Council. Mr. Berry also is a member of WealthCounsel and the Probate and Estate Planning and Taxation sections of the State Bar of Michigan. He earned his B.A. degree from Grand Valley State University and his J.D. degree from Michigan State University College of Law. BRIAN R. JENNEY is an attorney with Payne, Broder & Fossee, PC. Mr. Jenney has been an attorney for more than 10 years and is engaged in the practice of estate planning, probate administration and litigation, elder law, and trust administration. He earned his B.S. degree from Michigan State University and his J.D. degree from Wayne State University Law School. NANCY C. NAWROCKI is an attorney in Livingston County, Michigan, where her practice focuses on the legal and financial issues that affect older people. Ms. Nawrocki counsels elder clients in estate planning, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, Medicare and Medicaid planning, nursing home placement and standard of care issues, guardianship and conservatorship, and probate issues. She was a founding member of the Senior Justice Committee of the State Bar of Michigan, and continues to serve as a member of the Elder Law and Advocacy Section, Family Law Section and Probate Law Section. Ms. Nawrocki also is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). She was the consulting attorney for the Livingston County Older Adult Legal Program from 1988 until its dissolution in 1996. Ms. Nawrocki conducts frequent free seminars on elder law at various Livingston County Senior Citizens Centers and at other sites. She earned her B.A. degree from Oakland University, her J.D. degree from Wayne State University Law School and her LL.M. degree from Stetson University College of Law.
