October 19 - Grand Rapids TONYA A. FEDEWA is the principal of the Grand Rapids law firm of Tonya A. Fedewa PLC, and has been in private practice since 1986. Ms. Fedewa specializes in plaintiff's personal injury cases, specifically workers' disability compensation, social security disability claims and personal injury cases. She earned her J.D. degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School while working for the State of Michigan. Ms. Fedewa received a master's degree from Western Michigan University in health, physical education and recreation administration. Ms. Fedewa successfully argued the McJunkin v. Cellasto Plastic Corporation case before the Michigan Supreme Court. She is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan and is on the Council of the Workers' Compensation Section of the State Bar of Michigan. THEMIS J. He has been in private practice for 34 years, exclusively representing plaintiffs in automobile negligence; worker's compensation and social security disability cases. Mr. Fotieo lectures annually at the Michigan Association for Justice's workers compensation seminar. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Michigan, and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. October 20 - Southfield MICHAEL J. CANTOR is a member of the Southfield law firm of Paskel Tashman & Walker PC. Mr. Cantor has spent more than 30 years in the practice of law dedicated to obtaining benefits for injured workers and their families. He specializes in Michigan Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability claims including SSI. Mr. Cantor is an active member of the Michigan Association for Justice and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. He has co-written two seminars on handling Social Security claims in Michigan.
