RITA M. FARRY is an attorney at the Maine law firm of Kimmel, Beach, & Fitzpatrick, PA, where she focuses her practice on creditors' rights in bankruptcy and collection litigation. She is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy and creditors' rights laws. Ms. Farry earned her B.A. degree from Boston College and her J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School. She is currently a member of the Maine State Bar Association and the Board of Bar Overseers Professional Ethics Commission, the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA), the Board of Directors of the Cape Elizabeth Home, a pro bono panel member of Maine's Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project (ILAP) and a former member of the Town of Scarborough Zoning Board of Appeals. E. CHRIS L'HOMMEDIEU is an attorney in private practice with L'Hommedieu Law Office in Lewiston, Maine. His practice focuses equally on consumer bankruptcy law, family law and personal injury. Mr. L'Hommedieu attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and graduated magna cum laude from Ithaca College with a B.A. degree and from the University of Maine Law School. RICHARD O'BRIEN is an attorney with the law firm of Linnell, Choate & Webber, LLP, where his areas of practice include bankruptcy and reorganization, and wills, trusts and probate of estates. He is a member of the Androscoggin County and Maine State bar associations, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. O'Brien earned his B.A. degree from Harvard University and his J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law. While in law school, he was a member and editor of the Annual Review of Banking Law. Mr. O'Brien was admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Maine in 1982.
