ANNE M. MARTIN is an elder law attorney with the Maine Center for Elder Law, LLC. Ms. Martin is a member of the Elder Law Section of the Maine State Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and ElderCounsel, LLC. She assists seniors and people with disabilities including MaineCare planning and applications, special needs trusts, estate administration, probate matters, and planning for VA Aid and Attendance eligibility. Ms. Martin received her honors degree in economics from the University of Wales and her J.D. degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. She is a member of the Maine State Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Martin is a conflict resolution practitioner. For the last five years she has specialized in elder mediation, helping families develop solutions to complex issues. JENNIFER L. FRANK has been practicing law since 1993. Prior to joining Patricia Nelson-Reade Law Office, she was the managing attorney of a mass tort litigation firm where she practiced for 15 years, primarily representing individuals harmed by unsafe prescription drugs. Ms. Frank earned her B.S. degree from Boston University and her J.D. degree from Golden Gate University School of Law where she specialized and received a certificate in public interest law. She as a member of and published in the Golden Gate University Law Review. She is a member of the Maine State Bar Association (member, Elder Law Section), the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. KATHLEEN E. KIENITZ has practiced elder law and estate planning in Lewiston, P.A. for 17 years. Her firm, Elder Law Offices of Kathleen Kienitz, PA, concentrates in elder law and disability planning, estate planning and probate. She has been the past chairperson of the Elder Law Section of the Maine State Bar Association. She is one of just two certified elder law attorneys in the State of Maine. Ms. Kienitz is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and a frequent planning committee and faculty member of the New England Regional Elder Law Symposia. She also writes and speaks extensively on the topics of elder law and estate planning. BARBARA S. SCHLICHTMAN is an elder law attorney with the Maine Center for Elder Law, LLC, in Kennebunk. The office assists families with long-term care planning and MaineCare, whether the need is pre-planning or crisis planning. Ms. Schlichtman also works with the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance health care directives and any needed conservatorships and guardianships. She is a member of the Elder Law Section of the Maine State Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and ElderCounsel, LLC, a national organization of attorneys specializing on elder law issues. She is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Alabama, as well as Maine; however, she limits her practice to Maine. She has also held university appointments teaching journalism, communications law and conflict resolution. She earned her Bachelor's of Journalism degree (1989) and J.D. degree (1992) from the University of Missouri.
