LAURI D. BOXER-MACOMBER is an attorney, mediator and facilitator with a diverse civil practice. Ms. Boxer-Macomber practices at Kelly, Remmel and Zimmerman in Portland, Maine. She is admitted to practice in Maine's federal and state courts, as well as in California and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Her professional interests and concentrations include alternative dispute resolution, health care, constitutional, land use, personal injury and family law. In addition to counseling clients and maintaining an active litigation practice, Ms. Boxer-Macomber enjoys mediating for private parties at the firm and in the Maine state courts, where she is a trained and rostered mediator for the Maine State Court's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. She received her J.D. and M.S. degrees from the University of California, Davis, and her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Connecticut's Honors Scholar Program. Ms. Boxer-Macomber is a member of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and the Maine State and Cumberland County bar associations. She is also presently serving as the secretary of the Maine State Bar Association's Alternative Dispute Resolution Section. In addition, Ms. Boxer-Macomber is an emeriti member of the Gignoux Inns of Court. Before joining Kelly, Remmel and Zimmerman in 2004, she clerked in the Maine Superior Court for Chief Justice Thomas Humphrey, Justice Nancy Mills and Justice Robert Crowley. Ms. Boxer-Macomber also worked as a facilitator and researcher for one of the country's leading public policy consensus building institutes and served as Peace Corps volunteer in Central America. JOHN H. BRANSON is president and sole shareholder of Law Office of John H. Branson, P.A. in Portland's Monument Square. Mr. Branson assists individual and small business clients in the areas of family law, civil and commercial litigation, real estate transactions and disputes, commercial and residential landlord-tenant, appellate advocacy, general business counseling, and criminal defense. Since 2003, he has practiced in all areas of family law, including divorce proceedings, parental rights and responsibilities actions, mediation and dispute resolution, and post-judgment enforcement and modification proceedings. Mr. Branson is a 1989 graduate of Yale College, cum laude, and a 1992 graduate of Harvard Law School, cum laude. Mr. Branson is admitted to practice before all state courts in Maine, Massachusetts and the District of Columbia, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. DORI F. CHADBOURNE is president of Chadbourne Law Offices, P.A., in Portland. Her practice includes all areas of family law, from traditional cases to surrogacy and de facto parenthood. She also serves as a guardian ad litem, and is a certified mediator. Ms. Chadbourne is an experienced trial and appellate attorney who handled securities, corporate governance, contract, fraud, consumer protection, and environmental litigation before concentrating her practice on family law. She practiced at Skadden Arps (1992-1995), Goodwin Procter (1995-2000) and Pierce Atwood (2001-2002) before opening her own firm. She is a cum laude graduate of both Mount Holyoke College and Harvard Law School. MARIANNA M. FENTON is a partner with the law firm of Robinson, Kriger & McCallum, where her practice areas include criminal law, family law and juvenile law. Ms. Fenton was admitted to the Maine bar in 1997. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern Maine in 1993, with a B.S. degree in criminology. Ms. Fenton was named a Maine policy scholar in 1992. She graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 1996. While in law school, Ms. Fenton worked as an assistant district attorney at the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office. Upon being admitted to the Maine bar, she opened her own law office as a general practitioner, with an emphasis in litigation, concentrating in the areas of criminal and family law, as well as probate practice. Ms. Fenton also has extensive experience serving as a guardian ad litem in the Maine family and probate courts. KAREN G. KINGSLEY is an attorney with the law firm of Troubh Heisler, P.A., in Portland. She focuses her practice in the area of ethics and professional responsibility, while maintaining a general practice in real estate, probate and family law. Over the years, she has given numerous CLE presentations to attorneys, paralegals and law office managers in the areas of ethics and professional responsibility, including the grievance process and fee arbitration matters. Prior to her present position, Ms. Kingsley served for 16 years as assistant bar counsel at the Board of Overseers of the Bar. She earned her B.A. degree from Middlebury College and her J.D. degree from the University of Maine School of Law. Ms. Kingsley is a member of the Maine State Bar Association (member, Family Law and Women's Law sections), and the Kennebec County Bar Association.
