ROGER A. HAYDEN II is a partner in the law firm of Pasternak & Fidis, P.C., with offices in Bethesda, Maryland. He was formerly a regional counsel for a national title insurance company and in-house counsel for a federal savings bank. His areas of practice include real estate, business, title insurance, financial institutions and civil litigation matters. He is also experienced in employment law and disputed wills, trusts and estates. Mr. Hayden provides expert consultation services concerning real estate, title insurance and escrow practices locally and nationally. He is a member of numerous trade and professional organizations including the American Land Title Association and the Land Title Associations for Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. He has spoken on real estate, title insurance, foreclosure and mortgage lending issues for many groups. Mr. Hayden received his B.A. degree from the Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, and his J.D. degree from the George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia. He is a member of the American Bar Association and state and local bar associations in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia including sections for Real Estate, Employment, and Litigation, serves as a Master of the Bench for the Montgomery County, Maryland Inn of Court AIC, and is a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation, Inc. He is active in his church and the Boy Scouts of America. ERIC M. SCHNEIDER is an attorney with First Class Title, Inc., located in Rockville, Maryland, where he performs in-house title examinations, conducts settlements, and assists in business development. After nearly five years in private practice, he worked for a large Maryland title agency as the manager of their Gaithersburg operations. From 1993 through 2008, Mr. Schneider was agency underwriting counsel for several title insurance underwriters and has been a regular speaker on matters regarding the real estate industry. He is a past president of the Maryland Land Title Association, having served as chair of the Education Committee, chair of the Pre-Licensing Committee and an officer and member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Schneider currently is a member of the American Land Title Association (ALTA) Education Committee. He also is a member of the Montgomery County, Maryland State and American bar associations. Mr. Schneider earned his B.A. degree in political science from Case Western Reserve University and his J.D. degree from Syracuse University College of Law. TERRENCE M. SULLIVAN is an attorney with the Rockville law firm of Ward & Klein, Chartered. His areas of practice are residential real estate, commercial real estate, construction law, commercial loans and real estate title insurance. Mr. Sullivan is admitted to practice in Maryland, Texas, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the U.S. District Court, District of Maryland. He is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, Inc., the District of Columbia Bar and the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Sullivan received his B.A. degree from the Catholic University of America and his J.D. degree from St. Mary's University of Texas.
