PAUL D. BEKMAN is a partner in the Baltimore law firm of Salsbury, Clements, Bekman, Marder & Adkins, LLC. Mr. Bekman focuses his practice on handling serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, with special emphasis in the areas of medical negligence, products liability, maritime and common carrier cases. He is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a civil trial specialist. He is also certified by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. Mr. Bekman is a frequent lecturer and writer of publications relating to trial advocacy, personal injury, wrongful death and medical negligence issues. He has also been listed in Best Lawyers of America in personal injury practice, products liability, medical malpractice, admiralty and alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Bekman earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Maryland. He is a member and past president of the following: the Bar Association of Baltimore City, the Maryland State Bar Association and the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Bekman is an advocate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, as well as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, where he is currently serving as a Regent of the College. DANIEL M. CLEMENTS is a partner at Salsbury, Clements, Bekman, Marder & Adkins, LLC. He concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability, legal malpractice and personal injury. Mr. Clements clerked for United States District Court Judge James R. Miller Jr. Then, he was Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Maryland. He is past president of MTLA and was MTLA's PAC chair. Mr. Clements is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He regularly lectures on trial practice. He also has served as chair of the Board of Planned Parenthood of Maryland and has been a trustee of the Maryland Democratic Party. Mr. Clements earned his B.A. degree from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from George Washington University. ROBERT K. NEAD is a member in the law firm of Nead, Minton & Ferris LLP. He has been a practicing trial attorney for more than 50 years. His practice is concentrated primarily in insurance defense and litigation coverage issues. Mr. Nead has previously lectured on damages and uninsured motorist issues for MICPEL and has lectured for National Business Institute. He earned his J.D. degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law and his M.A. degree from the University of Baltimore. Mr. Nead is a member of the American Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. STEVEN BRUCE VINICK is a partner with the law firm of Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, P.A., where he practices in the areas of civil litigation, criminal law, personal injury, medical malpractice and administrative law. He has spoken for the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers on "The Nuts & Bolts of Personal Injury Law." Mr. Vinick earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is a member of the Montgomery County and Prince George's County bar associations, the Maryland State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association and The American Association for Justice.
