DAVID V. DIGGS is a partner with the Baltimore law firm of Kahn, Smith & Collins, P.A., where his main areas of practice are domestic relations and civil litigation. He is a Baltimore city circuit court domestic mediator. In addition to National Business Institute, Mr. Diggs has previously lectured on family law for the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers. He has successfully represented clients in divorce actions, child custody, visitation and support cases, as well as wrongful death cases and automobile accidents. Mr. Diggs earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Towson State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Maryland. He is a member and chair of the Family Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, the chair of the Family Law Section of the Maryland Association for Justice (previously the Maryland Trial Lawyers' Association) and past co-chair of the Family Law Committee of the Bar Association of Baltimore City. Mr. Diggs also is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States, the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. MAUREEN GLACKIN is a partner in the firm of Sasscer, Clagett & Bucher in Upper Marlboro. Her practice is concentrated in the area of domestic law, and she is widely sought for her extensive experience representing military service members. As a former military dependent, Ms. Glackin innately understands the unique challenges facing the military service member and spouse during divorce, custody and child support cases. This unique area of expertise, coupled with her detailed understanding of the Uniformed Services Former Spouses' Protection Act and the Servicemember's Civil Relief Act, has made Ms. Glackin a frequent guest lecturer to professional groups and other associations. Having continued to practice law during extensive travel with her now retired Navy spouse, she is licensed to practice law in California, the District of Columbia, Maryland and Washington State. Since joining the firm in 2006, Ms Glackin has succesfully tried complex domestic law cases involving businesses, self-employed individuals, child custody and child support in Maryland and other jurisdictions. Most recently, she completed the Advanced Associate Training Course with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Ms. Glackin is a graduate of Villanova University and Temple University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Maryland State and Washington State bar associations and the Prince George's County and Calverty County bar associations. JAMES G. QUINN has been with the Law Office of John W. Conrad III since January 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Quinn was with Royston, Mueller, McLean & Reid, LLP, where he worked as a paralegal and then as an associate. Mr. Quinn has extensive experience in family law matters, general civil litigation and appellate practice. He also regularly prepares and presents educational seminars for the National Business Institute's "Institute for Paralegal Education." He earned his B.S. degree in rehabilitation services education from Penn State University, his Paralegal Certification from Anne Arundel Community College and his J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law.
