PETER F. CARR II is a member of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC's litigation division. His primary areas of practice include commercial and business litigation, construction litigation, employment law and appellate practice. Mr. Carr appears regularly before the state and federal courts, and maintains an active trial practice. He also has experience practicing before mediation and arbitration panels on complex commercial litigation matters including the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Carr has an active practice representing independent private schools, and advises on contract issues, liability issues, personnel matters and discipline issues. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Bates College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School. Mr. Carr is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. NICHOLAS I. MCDONALD is an associate with Cetrulo & Capone LLP, where he practices in the areas of toxic tort, product liability, and insurance defense. He also has experience in the area of employment law, as well as secured lending transactions, in which he represents commercial landlords and tenants in leasing matters, and commercial lenders in lending transactions. Mr. McDonald began working with Cetrulo & Capone LLP as an undergraduate at Northeastern University. During law school, he assisted in drafting an amicus brief in two U.S. Supreme Court death penalty cases. In addition, Mr. McDonald worked as a student prosecutor at the Suffolk County District Attorney's office in front of the Boston Municipal Court. Most recently, he was involved in obtaining summary judgment for a major building materials manufacturer in an asbestos personal injury case in Massachusetts state court. Mr. McDonald is a member of the Massachusetts, American Bar Association (Advisory Panel) and Boston bar associations, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court District of Massachusetts. He earned his B.S. degree from Northeastern University and his J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School.
