LORI A. FAVATA is an attorney at the Law Offices of Flood & Favata. Prior to joining the Law Office of Christopher M. Flood in 1999, Ms. Favata obtained extensive work experience in the areas of workers' compensation and Social Security disability law. She has been in practice for 21 years, during which time she has done both plaintiff and insurer defense work in administering and litigating workers' compensation and Social Security claims. In addition, Ms. Favata has civil litigation experience in the areas of personal injury, negligence, and general disability matters. She currently handles cases in all these areas and specializes in representing disabled employees in workers' compensation and Social Security disability cases. Ms. Favata is a graduate of the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 1988. She is a 1984 graduate of Union College in Schenectady, New York, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. Ms. Favata is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives, Massachusetts Bar Association, Worcester County Bar Association and its Workers' Compensation Committee. She has appeared as a guest speaker on Money Matters Radio and has presented at conferences pertaining to workers' compensation and Social Security issues. KAREN S. HAMBLETON is a sole practitioner with offices in Braintree, Massachusetts, and New Bedford, Massachusetts. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of workers' compensation and disability law. Ms. Hambleton formerly practiced as an associate with the law firm Keches Law Group in Taunton, Massachusetts. She represents Social Security disability clients in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire, as well as workers' compensation claimants in Massachusetts, where she is licensed. Ms. Hambleton has also represented Social Security claimants before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She received a bachelor's degree in journalism from Boston University, and worked in the newspaper industry for many years before turning her interest to the law. Ms. Hambleton is a graduate, magna cum laude, of the Suffolk University Law School, where she was a member of the law review staff. BRUCE S. LIPSEY is a partner at Epstein, Lipsey & Clifford, P.C., a firm based on the South Shore, but having offices throughout Massachusetts. Mr. Lipsey represents clients before the workers' compensation board, social security department and accidental disability retirement board. He served as the chairman of the Massachusetts Bar Association Sub-Committee on Workers' Compensation between 2001 and 2005. Mr. Lipsey is a frequent lecturer at MCLE and has appeared on both TV and radio as a commentator on both workers' compensation and social security issues. As a sustaining member of the National Association of Social Security Representatives, he networks nationally on social security issues. Mr. Lipsey graduated with honors from Brown University with a concentration in ethics and political philosophy. Subsequently, he received his law degree from Suffolk Law School, with honors in oral advocacy and brief writing. While at Suffolk, Mr. Lipsey was named a contributing editor to the widely used lawyer's resource, Proof of Cases in Massachusetts. Further, Mr. Lipsey clerked for the Honorable Judge James Sweeney.
