LAURIE ALEXANDER-KROM is an attorney with the Boston law firm of Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP, where she practices in employment law and litigation. She advises employers, employees, and business executives in all aspects of employment-related issues and policies including hiring, FMLA leave and ADA compliance, discrimination, wage and hour, employee terminations, and severance agreements. AMY CARLIN is an attorney with the Boston law firm of Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP, where her practice includes representing clients in the wide range of cases that arise in the employment context, such as discrimination and retaliation claims, wage and other state and federal statutory actions, and common law employment torts. Outside of her litigation practice, Ms. Carlin provides advice on employment issues that managers, human resource professionals and in-house counsel face on a day-to-day basis. She also conducts sexual harassment and discrimination prevention training for employees of the firm's clients, as well as trainings in best management practices and other employment topics. Ms. Carlin is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Women's Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute (Chair of Membership, Lawyers' Professionalism and Ethics Committee). ANNE LADOV EISEMANN is an attorney in the Boston office of Jackson Lewis LLP, where she practices labor and employment law, with a particular emphasis on labor relations and employment counseling and litigation. She regularly counsels clients regarding day-to-day employment issues, including matters related to employee discipline and discharge, employee personnel policies, wage and hour issues, FMLA and disability management issues, compliance with state and federal labor laws, and reductions in force. Ms. Eisemann has extensive experience representing employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters. She also represents management in labor arbitrations, assists with union organizing campaigns, and has experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements on behalf of organized clients. Ms. Eisemann regularly counsels clients with respect to rights and obligations under collective bargaining agreements and on the practice of positive employee relations. In addition, she conducts trainings on labor and employment law topics, including sexual harassment prevention and best management practices. In 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011, Ms. Eisemann was recognized as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer ?Rising Star? for employment litigation defense. She earned her B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her J.D. degree from New England School of Law. BARRY J. MILLER is an attorney in the Labor & Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, where he regularly litigates employment disputes in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. He also provides counseling and compliance advice to employers on a wide variety of employment-related legal issues, including the accommodation of disabled employees, workplace investigations, reductions in force, and terminations of employees in sensitive situations. Mr. Miller focuses a significant share of his practice on the defense of complex wage and hour claims, including collective actions under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act and class actions under the laws of many different states. He has been repeatedly recognized as a Rising Star by the Massachusetts Super Lawyers Guide and has been recognized in Chambers USA as being at the forefront of his generation for the practice of employment law.
