SCOTT W. MCQUAIG is an attorney with the law firm of McQuaig & Associates, where he concentrates his practice in civil litigation with an emphasis on representation of insurance carriers and self-insureds in the areas of automobile and transportation liability, products liability, maritime law, premises liability and employer's liability/workers' compensation. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of New Orleans and his J.D. degree from Tulane Law School. Mr. McQuaig is a member of the Louisiana, Federal and American bar associations, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, The Maritime Law Association of the United States, The Defense Research Institute, The National Institute of Trial Advocacy, the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute and The Association for Transportation Law, Logistics and Policy. He served as a member for the Trial Advocacy faculty at Tulane Law School and as Judge Pro Tempore of the First Parish Court for the Parish of Jefferson. As a founding principal of The Amset Group, Mr. McQuaig also provides corporate and private clients with arbitration, mediation, risk analysis and claim evaluation services in Louisiana and throughout the Gulf South. He is a frequent lecturer/instructor on the topics of trial practice, civil litigation and mediation. CHRISTOPHER M. MOODY is a partner in the law firm of Moody & Johnson, where he focuses his practice in estate planning and probate, elder law, personal injury, litigation, commercial, insurance defense, automobile accidents and injuries, and truck accidents. He earned his B.S. degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University Law School. Mr. Moody is a member of the Louisiana State and American bar associations, the Louisiana Association for Justice, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and NAELA.
