CHRISTOPHER T. CAPLINGER is a shareholder in the law firm of Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin & Hubbard, where he concentrates his practice on representation of debtors, creditors and creditor committees in Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization cases, creditors in Chapter 7 and 13 cases, and creditor defendants in all aspects of the prosecution and defense of claims and actions before bankruptcy courts and in related litigation before federal district courts. He also represents clients in other commercial litigation matters. Mr. Caplinger was admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in the state of Louisiana in 1998, and has been admitted pro hac vice and has appeared before the Southern, Western, and Northern districts of Texas; the Southern District of Mississippi; the Southern District of Alabama; and the Northern and Middle districts of Florida. Mr. Caplinger earned his B.A. degree from the College of William & Mary and his J.D. degree from Loyola University, New Orleans. He also holds an M.A. degree in religious studies. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association. ROBERTO A. CONTRERAS practices in the areas of unsecured collections, foreclosures and creditors' rights law as a partner in D'Aquila, Volk, Mullins & Contreras, APLC. He earned his B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Loyola University and his J.D. degree from Santa Maria University, Panama City, Panama. Mr. Contreras is a member of the Louisiana State, American, Saint Tammany Parish and Greater Covington bar associations. BLAKE E. OAKES is currently in-house claims counsel for The Gray Casualty & Surety Company in Metairie. Prior to his current position, he primarily practiced in the areas of bankruptcy, collections, commercial litigation and creditor's rights, with his main focus on the collection of consumer debts, representing a major retail credit card company. Mr. Oakes earned his B.A. degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. degree from Southern University Law Center. He is admitted to practice before all Louisiana Courts, state and federal. Mr. Oakes currently serves as secretary on the Board of Trustees for Miller-McCoy Academy Charter School in New Orleans. TOM D. SNYDER JR. is an attorney in the main office of the Conroy Law Firm, where he practices in the areas of commercial litigation; business torts, including unfair trade practices; interference with business and contractual relations; franchise disputes; product liability securities; antitrust; intellectual property; first amendment; defamation; and invasion of privacy claims. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of New Orleans and J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law. Mr. Snyder is a member of the New Orleans, Greater Covington, Louisiana State, Federal and American bar associations.
