WILLIAM J. DUTEL is the owner of Dutel Law Firm. Mr. Dutel focuses his practice in estate planning, trusts and successions as well as succession and trust litigation. He has more than 25 years of experience in handling successions and trusts and also has a great deal of experience with trust litigation. Mr. Dutel has previously lectured to various groups on his areas of practice, including speaking at the annual meeting of the American Bar Association on new forms of lending. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of New Orleans and his J.D. degree from Tulane University School of Law. Mr. Dutel is a member of the Covington, Louisiana State and American bar associations. CARL S. GOODE is a member of Seale & Ross, P.L.C., where he practices in the areas of taxation, estate planning, elder law and special needs trusts. Mr. Goode is a board certified tax law and estate planning and administration specialist by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. He earned his B.S. degree from Louisiana State University, his LL.M. degree from Washington University and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University Law School. Mr. Goode is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association (member, Taxation Section, Immovable Property and Probate Section), the American Bar Association (member, Taxation Section), The Missouri Bar and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He has been selected as a 2010 and 2011 Louisiana Super Lawyer. ERIC M. SCHORR is an attorney in the New Orleans office of Sessions, Fishman, Nathan & Israel, L.L.P. He is certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in estate planning and estate administration. Mr. Schorr practices primarily in the areas of trusts, estate planning and probate. He received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Tulane University and his J.D. degree from the Loyola University School of Law where he graduated third in his division. Mr. Schorr served on the editorial board of the Loyola University Journal of Public Interest Law as the articles editor, and was a founding member of the Maritime Law Society and the Delta Theta Phi International Legal Fraternity. He has received several awards for law excellence in the areas of federal taxation of wealth transmission and federal income taxation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schorr had a successful career in the financial services industry as a general securities principal where he acquired an in-depth understanding of investments and financial planning as well as securities regulation. Mr. Schorr is also an approved FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator. He is a member of the New Orleans, Louisiana State, American and Federal Bar associations, and is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
