SCHWALBEN, M.D., J.D., is an attorney in solo practice in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He concentrates his practice of law in the areas of medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, medical products liability and general negligence. Dr. Schwalben earned his M.D. degree at The State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York; his J.D. degree from St. John's University School of Law, New York; and his B.A. degree from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. Dr. Schwalben is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and an inactive member of The Florida Bar.
