MARTHA Y. CURTIS is a partner in the New Orleans law firm of Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, L.L.C., where she practices in the areas of insurance coverage, commercial litigation, environmental litigation and complex litigation. She has spoken for various professional groups on insurance bad faith, third-party coverage, emerging issues in insurance coverage law, adjusting the automobile injury claim, and uninsured and underinsured motorist law. Ms. Curtis received her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and her J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Tulane Law School. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the United States Supreme Court Bar, the United States Court of Federal Claim, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. Ms. Curtis was named one of the 50 "Leaders in Law" from New Orleans CityBusiness and was named one of the "Best Lawyers in New Orleans" in 2009 from New Orleans Magazine. DONALD L. HYATT II is a sole practitioner in New Orleans, where he practices in the areas of employment law, professional malpractice and insurance defense. He previously has spoken for various professional groups on his areas of practice. Mr. Hyatt is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the U.S. 5th and 9th Circuits, and the Eastern, Middle and Western districts of Louisiana. He earned his B.A. degree from Centenary College and his J.D. degree from Loyola University, New Orleans. ANDREW L. KRAMER has gained significant experience working for three small but prominent New Orleans law firms over the past fifteen years. Mr. Kramer opened his own practice in the fall of 2009. As the firm's managing member, Mr. Kramer handles a wide range of commercial litigation matters, primarily focused on property-related disputes. Among others, Mr. Kramer represents several condominium and commercial property developers in various actions against condominium associations, unit owners, contractors, subcontractors, neighbors and local governments. Mr. Kramer earned his B.A. degree from Tulane University in 1991 and his J.D. degree from Tulane University School of Law in 1994. While in law school, Mr. Kramer participated in the Civil Litigation Clinical Program and Inn of Court and was a Fellowship Recipient of the Public Interest Law Foundation in 1992. Mr. Kramer is a member of the Louisiana, New York State and American bar associations, as well as the American Association of Justice. Mr. Kramer has been a member of the House of Delegates of the Louisiana State Bar Association since June 2009. He also has lectured on the subject of internet and technology strategies for legal professionals for National Business Institute in July 2006, and on the subject of post-trial issues in December 2008 and again in December 2009. RYAN O. LUMINAIS is an attorney in the law firm of Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, L.L.C. His legal practice includes areas of commercial litigation, medical products and devices, professional and products liability, premises liability, and collections. He earned his bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in political science, from the University of New Orleans, where he received honors for graduating with the highest GPA in his graduation class. He also earned his J.D. degree and Bachelor of Civil Law degree from Louisiana State University. Mr. Luminais is admitted to practice before all Louisiana and all Mississippi state courts. He also is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court in the Northern and Southern districts of Mississippi, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has 90% of his practice devoted to litigation and he has experience in trial and in oral arguments. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.
