JACQUES P. DeGRUY is an attorney in the law firm of Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett, L.L.C., where he focuses his practice in maritime, asbestos defense, general casualty and bankruptcy. Mr. DeGruy is admitted to practice in all Louisiana courts and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of New Orleans and his J.D. degree from Loyola University School of Law. Mr. DeGruy is an active member of the Louisiana and New Orleans bar associations, the Defense Research Institute, and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. He also contributes legal articles to various trade journals in the maritime and insurance industries. DONALD L. HYATT II is a sole practitioner in New Orleans, where he practices in the areas of employment law, professional malpractice and insurance defense. He previously has spoken for various professional groups on his areas of practice. Mr. Hyatt is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the U.S. 5th and 9th Circuits, and the Eastern, Middle and Western districts of Louisiana. He earned his B.A. degree from Centenary College and his J.D. degree from Loyola University, New Orleans. ANDREW L. KRAMER has gained significant experience working for three small but prominent New Orleans law firms over the past 15 years. Mr. Kramer opened his own practice in the fall of 2009. As the firm's managing member, Mr. Kramer handles a wide range of commercial litigation matters, primarily focused on property-related disputes. Among others, he represents several condominium and commercial property developers in various actions against condominium associations, unit owners, contractors, subcontractors, neighbors and local governments. Mr. Kramer earned his B.A. degree from Tulane University and his J.D. degree from Tulane University School of Law. While in law school, he participated in the Civil Litigation Clinical Program and Inn of Court, and was a Fellowship Recipient of the Public Interest Law Foundation. Mr. Kramer is a member of the Louisiana State, New York State and American bar associations, as well as the American Association of Justice. He has been a member of the House of Delegates of the Louisiana State Bar Association since June 2009. Mr. Kramer also has lectured on the subject of internet and technology strategies for legal professionals for National Business Institute in July 2006, and on the subject of post-trial issues in December 2008 and again in December 2009.
