JAYE A. CALHOUN is a member in the New Orleans office of McGlinchey Stafford PLLC, where her practice in the business section focuses on state and local taxation and regulatory issues, nonprofit and health-care related tax issues, Louisiana state entertainment tax credits, estate planning and planned giving, business planning and formation as well as tax audits and tax litigation. She is board certified in both taxation and estate planning and administration by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization, and is a former attorney for the Internal Revenue Service. She has spoken to numerous professional and community groups on tax-related issues and has been featured on WWL radio as a tax law expert. She is a frequent contributor to professional publications and has served as a Louisiana editor of the American Bar Association's State and Local Tax Lawyer and has contributed to Lexis-Nexis Practice Insights on Louisiana law. Ms. Calhoun has co-authored several books on taxation and dealing with tax agencies and has written numerous articles on recent developments in taxation. She is an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School New Orleans where she teaches a course in state and local taxation. She earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, from Newcomb College of Tulane University; her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Tulane University School of Law; and her LL.M. degree, with distinction, from Georgetown Law Center. She has served as chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association Section on Taxation from 2004 to 2005, and currently is the chair of the New Orleans Bar Association Tax Law Committee. Ms. Calhoun is an incoming vice chair of the Executive Committee of the State and Local Tax Subcommittee of the American Bar Association's Section on Taxation and currently serves as chair of the Government Submissions & Legislative White Paper Subcommittee. As chair of the Task Force on Business Activity Taxes and Nexus of the ABA Section of Taxation State and Local Tax Committee, she served as editor-in-chief of a special report, published in the ABA Tax Lawyer (State and Local edition) in 2009, addressing the issues involved in state and local government imposition of business activity taxes on nonresident businesses. Ms. Calhoun has been named a Louisiana Super Lawyer in estate planning and probate and tax, and has been named one of The Best Lawyers in America® in tax law. She was also named one of the Top 25 Women by Louisiana Super Lawyers for 2010, a "Women of the Year" by New Orleans CityBusiness in February 2006, and a "Role Model" by the YWCA in 1999. JILL A GAUTREAUX is of counsel in the business corporate matters section of McGlinchey Stafford PLLC and practices in the New Orleans office. She has more than ten years of experience handling commercial law, real estate, liquor licensing, and business transactions. Ms. Gautreaux holds a B.A. degree from Tulane University and a J.D. degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the Louisiana Restaurant Association, the National Conference of State Liquor Administrators, and the National Association of License Compliance Professionals. ROBERT A. KUTCHER is a partner in the law firm of Chopin, Wagar, Richard & Kutcher, LLP, where he practices in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate, franchises, and franchising litigation. He is the author of "Recent Developments in Business Entities" in the Louisiana State Bar Association's Recent Developments Manual. Mr. Kutcher has spoken for the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board, the Louisiana State Bar Association, Loyola Law School and Tulane Law School on topics relating to ethics and business entities. He earned his B.A. degree from Cornell University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Loyola University. Mr. Kutcher is a member of the Louisiana State (House of Delegates), New York State, Federal and American bar associations, and is former chairman of the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board. JORDAN B. MONSOUR is an attorney in the law firm of Butler, Snow, O'Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC , where he is in the Public Finance and Incentives Group. Mr. Monsour focuses his practice in federal and state historic rehabilitation tax credit, federal new markets tax credits law, general and complex real estate matters, HUD loans, public finance law (tax increment financing, economic development districts), and bonds, banking and commercial transactions. Mr. Monsour received his B.A. degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and Forum 35 of Baton Rouge. WILLIAM C. PEREZ is special counsel to the law firm of Adams and Reese LLP, where he is a member of the corporate/securities/mergers and acquisitions team in the firm's New Orleans and Washington, D.C., offices. He is licensed to practice law in Louisiana, the District of Columbia, and Virginia. Mr. Perez has extensive experience in all aspects of public and private company corporate and securities matters. He earned his B.B.A. degree from the University of Mississippi, his M.B.A. degree from Loyola University, his J.D. degree from Loyola University, New Orleans School of Law, and his LL.M. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Perez is a member of the Virginia and District of Columbia (member, section on Securities Law) bar associations, the Association of Corporate Counsel, the New Orleans Young Leadership Council, the Turnaround Management Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association. In the community, he is active with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, and is a coordinator for St. Jude volunteers in the Greater New Orleans metro area.
