RENEE CULOTTA is a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group of Frilot L.L.C. She has defended employers in litigation involving allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination and other employment claims for more than ten years. Representative cases handled by Ms. Culotta include Rathbun v. AutoZone, Inc., 361 F. 3d 62 (1st Cir. 2004), Hill v. Stone & Webster, Inc., 121 Fed.Appx. 826 (10th Cir. 2005), Ward v. Laboratory Corporation of America, 2006 WL 1528562 (M.D. Ala. 2006), Chivleatoo v. Sportsman's Cove, Inc ., 907 So.2d 815 (La App. 5 Cir. 6/28/05) and Mendonca v. Tidewater, 862 So. 2d 505 (La. App. 4 Ctr. 12/17/03). Additionally, she regularly counsels HR managers on day-to-day matters regarding hiring, terminations, recordkeeping, investigations, handbooks and other workplace issues. Ms. Culotta has conducted training on employment laws for supervisors and employees and regularly speaks on labor and employment issues to business and professional organizations. She earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees from Louisiana State University. Ms. Culotta is a member of the Employment Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana Business and Industry (LABI) Employment Relations Council and the American Bar Association's Committee for Liaison with the EEOC, OFCCP and DOJ. GREG GUIDRY is a shareholder in the Lafayette, Louisiana office of Onebane Law Firm, where he heads the Labor and Employment Law Section and Practice Group. He is licensed in Louisiana and Texas and has successfully represented management throughout the United States in all aspects of labor and employment law, including advice, training, prevention tactics and litigation for 33 years. His practice includes traditional labor law (union avoidance, union elections, collective bargaining, and NLRB issues) and employment law (employment discrimination and harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and developing employment law issues). Mr. Guidry also serves as a neutral mediator in employment law disputes. He is active in numerous business and professional associations, including the Society of Human Resource Management, and its local chapter ASHRM, is past Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law, and serves as management representative on several committees of the American Bar Association's Section on Labor and Employment Law and other national trade associations. He serves as chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association annual employment law seminar, and frequently lectures and writes on labor and employment law topics. He was elected as a fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, in recognition of his contributions to the field of labor and employment law, and he has served on the Credentials Committee for that group. Mr. Guidry has contributed to several national books on labor and employment law matters. He is also president of the Management Labor and Employment Roundtable, a national association of labor and employment lawyers and other professionals representing management in labor and employment law matters. MARIA F. MANUEL is an attorney with the Onebane Law Firm where she practices labor and employment law. She received her J.D. degree from Louisiana State University where she graduated with honors and served as Senior Editor of the Louisiana Law Review. She is past president of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association. She is also Immediate Past State Council Director for the Louisiana Society for Human Resource Management, and a past president of the Acadiana Society for Human Resource Management. She is a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR). Her practice focuses on all aspects of labor and employment law, including, but not limited to, leave advice and litigation, wage and hour advice and litigation, drug and alcohol testing, employee handbook review and preparation, supervisory and management training, employment discrimination litigation and advice, health care litigation and compliance advice.
