DAVID V. ADLER is a member of the panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Louisiana and also is a CPA, licensed in the State of Louisiana. He maintains his own office, where he focuses primarily on Chapter 7 bankruptcy issues. He earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his M.B.A. degree from Tulane University. Mr. Adler has served as liquidation agent and examiner in Chapter 11 cases. He is a member of the Louisiana Society of CPAs, AICPA, and the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. ROBERT L. MARRERO is a sole practitioner in New Orleans, where he focuses his practice on Chapters 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases, probate, and general civil litigation. He has previously lectured on civil rights at continuing legal education programs and has guest lectured at the Loyola University Law School. He also is a frequent lecturer for local bar associations on bankruptcy issues. In Mr. Marrero's 30 years of bankruptcy experience, he has handled nearly every type of bankruptcy case and procedure. He was also a Chapter 7 and 11 Trustee for more than 11 years. Mr. Marrero earned his B.A. degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University Law School. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. KIRK L. MYERS is a partner in the law firm of Harrington & Myers, Attorneys at Law, where their office has focused their practice in bankruptcy since 1992. Mr. Myers earned his B.S. degree in communications from Southwest Missouri State, his J.D. degree from the University of Santa Clara and his Master in Law degree from Tulane University. Mr. Myers is the firm’s litigator and has argued many of the nation’s leading bankruptcy cases, such as In Re Stewart, In Re Fitch, and In Re McKain. He also has been a speaker at the annual LSU Bankruptcy Seminar and at Loyola University. MARY M. TAYLOR is a sole practitioner in Metairie, where she practices in the area of bankruptcy. Ms. Taylor earned her B.S. degree from Louisiana State University and her J.D. degree from Loyola University School of Law. She has lectured previously to attorneys on consumer bankruptcy issues for National Business Institute and at an annual conference. She also was a moderator of The Peoples Law School for the Louisiana State Bar Association. Ms. Taylor is a member of the New Orleans, Louisiana State and American bar associations, the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees and the Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
