RALPH SCOTT BOWIE JR. is a shareholder with the law firm of Daye, Bowie & Beresko, APLC, where he practices law in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, commercial law, corporate law, banking law, oil and gas litigation, environmental law, and personal injury. Mr. Bowie is certified as a consumer bankruptcy specialist and as a business bankruptcy specialist by both the American Board of Certification and the Louisiana Bar Association Board of Legal Specialization. He earned his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana Tech University in 1973, his M.B.A. from the University of West Florida in 1978, his B.A. degree in accounting from the University of West Florida in 1980 and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University Law School in 1983. Mr. Bowie worked for seven years as a process engineer for Mansanto Chemical Company and is a licensed professional engineer in Louisiana. He is admitted to practice law in Louisiana and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. B. TREY MORRIS is a partner in the law firm of Simmons Morris & Carroll in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mr. Morris practices in the areas of collection law, construction law, personal injury and insurance defense. He is a member of the Shreveport Bar Association, National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys and the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Morris is currently collecting on more than 3,000 files and has successfully closed out thousands over the past few years. He received his B.S. degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. degree from Southern Law School. JOHN L WHITEHEAD is General Counsel for Sabine State Bank and Trust Company, where he performs collection work including bankruptcy defense. Mr. Whitehead is a 2007 graduate of LSU's Graduate School of Banking. He received his B.A. degree in communications from Northeast Louisiana University in 1988, and his J.D degree from Southern University Law Center in 1992. Mr. Whitehead is member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and admitted to practice in the Louisiana Eastern, Middle and Western Federal District Courts; the Texas Eastern District Federal Court; the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals; and the Supreme Court of the United States.
