LAWRENCE R. ANDERSON JR. is a partner in the Baton Rouge law firm of Seale, Smith, Zuber & Barnette and primarily handles matters involving bankruptcy, title insurance litigation, property tax litigation, landlord-tenant, construction, foreclosure, collection, lender liability and commercial law. Mr. Anderson earned his B.S. degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University School of Law, where he was a member and associate editor of the Louisiana Law Review. He is a frequent lecturer and has co-written several seminar manuals on foreclosure and repossession, creditors' rights and protection of security interests in bankruptcy, collection practices, landlord-tenant law, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Mr. Anderson is a member of the Baton Rouge and Louisiana State bar associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Bar Association of the Federal 5th Circuit. DARREN M. BENDER is an attorney in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where his law experience has focused on collections. Mr. Bender holds a B.A. degree, a J.D. degree, and a bachelor of civil law degree from Louisiana State University. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. CLAUDE RIVET, an attorney in Baton Rouge, devotes the majority of his practice to collections, foreclosure law and commercial litigation. A graduate of Louisiana State University, Mr. Rivet is a member of the East Baton Rouge Parish and Louisiana State bar associations. He is a frequent speaker for National Business Institute on collection issues. WILLIAM S. ROBBINS is a partner in the firm of Stewart Robbins & Brown, LLC, where he practices in the areas of bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation. Mr. Robbins is the author of "A Report on Credit Reports," Baton Rouge Bar Journal, March 2003; and "Baseball's Antitrust Exemption, A Corked Bat for Owners?" 55 La.L.Rev. 937, May 1995. He earned his B.A. degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University School of Law. Mr. Robbins is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
