WANDA ANDERSON DAVIS is a partner in the law firm of Leefe, Gibbs, Sullivan, Dupre & Aldous, LLC, where her primary emphasis is in the area of labor law (Title VII employment issues), personal injury litigation, medical malpractice, corporate law, (business and non-profit church law) and commercial litigation. Ms. Davis graduated, cum laude, from Southern University Law School in 1985 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism from Louisiana State University in 1981. After law school, she relocated to Washington, D.C., where she was one of 12 lawyers selected from across the United States to litigate labor matters for the U.S. Department of Labor. Ms. Davis is licensed to practice law in the State of Louisiana and the federal courts of the United States. She has argued cases before all levels of courts in the state of Louisiana, including the Louisiana Supreme Court and U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Davis has a very active federal practice in all federal district courts in the State of Louisiana. In 2007, she served as chairman of the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board and was vice-chair of the board and chairman of the Adjudicative Committee in 2006. Ms. Davis was initially appointed by the Louisiana Supreme Court to serve as a Disciplinary Hearing Committee Member to discipline fellow attorneys for ethical violations in 1996. In December 2001, the Supreme Court appointed her to serve on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board. Ms. Davis is a member of many professional organizations. She has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association since 1985, where she has served in many capacities and was the chairperson of the Minority Involvement Section of the bar from 1995 to 1998. From 1992 to 1994, she served as the chairman of the board for the Louisiana Center for Legal and Civic Education. She is has also been a member of the American Association of Trial Lawyers and Martinet Legal Society. MICHAEL S. MITCHELL is a founding partner of the New Orleans office of Fisher & Phillips LLP, one of the oldest and largest firms in the country practicing exclusively in labor and employment law representing management. His practice covers all aspects of employee relations, with an emphasis in collective bargaining, defense of unfair labor practice charges, union avoidance and supervisor training in employee relations. A native of West Virginia, Mr. Mitchell graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law in 1973 and for four years served in the judge advocate corps of the U.S. Air Force as trial counsel. Following military service, he returned to school, earning a master's degree in labor law from George Washington University, magna cum laude, in 1979. He has practiced labor and employment law exclusively since then, and has been involved in major cases before a number of circuit courts of appeals. Mr. Mitchell has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America as one of American's leading labor and employment lawyers, as well as Chambers Partners, and Who's Who in Law. He has also been designated as a Louisiana Super Lawyer, was selected in 2008 as one of 50 New Orleans Leaders in the Law, and named by New Orleans Magazine as one of the best lawyers in the city. He is a member of the Global Association of Hotel Attorneys; a frequent speaker before trade and professional associations; and is the editor of the firm's award-winning newsletters, practice area publications, and legal compendiums. CHRISTOPHER E. MOORE is a director in the New Orleans office of Coats Rose. Mr. Moore has focused his practice in the areas of labor and employment law since he began practicing law in 1996. He has been a featured speaker in programs for human resources professionals and attorneys on employment law topics such as the development and implementation of employment policies and recent developments in employment law. Mr. Moore was recently selected by his peers for inclusion in the prestigious publication The Best Lawyers in America. He earned his B.A. degree at Rhodes College and his J.D. degree at the University of Memphis. Mr. Moore is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the American Bar Association and is licensed to practice in Tennessee, Texas, and Louisiana.
