WILLIAM A. HILYERD is an associate professor of legal bibliography for the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law Library at the University of Louisville. He is the former head librarian and director of information resources for the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy. Mr. Hilyerd taught legal research to prison legal aides and currently teaches advanced legal research and computers in the law at the University of Louisville. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Louisville, his J.D. degree from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, his Master of Library Science from the University of Kentucky and his master's in business administration from the University of Louisville. Mr. Hilyerd is a member of the Kentucky and American bar associations and the American Association of Law Libraries.

VIRGINIA M. MATTINGLY SMITH is a law librarian for the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law Library at the University of Louisville where she provides communications, content management, legal research and technical support. Prior to being hired by the University of Louisville, she was a systems librarian for the Gemini Observatory in Hilo, HI. Ms. Mattingly Smith has been employed as an academic librarian for both the University of Hawaii and Sullivan University. She developed an interest in research and technology while working as an Internet Content Provider for About.com. Ms. Mattingly Smith also is very active in the Special Libraries Association's Legal Division. She earned her B.A. degree from Bellarmine University and her MLIS (Masters in Library Information Science) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

KENNETH L. SALES is an attorney with Sales Tillman Wallbaum Catlett & Satterley, PLLC, where he practices in areas of personal injury, products liability, professional negligence, employment related cases, business and corporate, and medical business. Mr. Sales earned his B.A. degree from the University of Kentucky and his J.D. degree from University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. He has been recognized as a Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Kentucky Trial Lawyers Association and in the Top 100 Lawyers of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Sales also has been appointed by the Kentucky Supreme Court to the Mass Tort Class Action Committee and serves on the Board of Governors for the Kentucky Justice Association. He is a member of the Kentucky Justice Foundation, Kentucky Justice Association, American Association of Justice, Indian Trial Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers, and the Federal, Kentucky, Indiana State and Pennsylvania bar associations. Mr. Sales is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court; the supreme courts of Kentucky, Indiana and Pennsylvania; the U.S. Court of Appeals 6th, 7th and 8th circuits; the U.S. Tax Court; the U.S. Court of Claims; and the U.S. District Court - Eastern and Western districts of Kentucky, Northern and Southern districts of Indiana and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
