MADELEINE T. BAUGH is a Lexington attorney in solo practice, specializing in the preparation of life and estate plans. She practices in the areas of simple and complex wills, trusts, guardianships, powers of attorney, living wills, healthcare powers of attorney, Medicaid planning and wartime veteran's non-service disability pension planning. Ms. Baugh also assists clients in probate, estate settlement and the resolution of complex estate disputes. In addition, she has specialized knowledge and experience in real property law, both residential and commercial and advises small businesses. Ms. Baugh has practiced law for twenty-one years and is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association (Real Property Chair), and the Fayette County Bar Association. She taught "Trust and Estates" as an adjunct instructor at the University of Kentucky College of Law in spring, 2008. Ms. Baugh volunteers legal services to Planned Parenthood of Kentucky and the Kentucky Volunteer lawyer program of the Access to Justice Foundation. Outside of the office, she is the vice president of the Bravo Guild, the fund-raising and volunteer arm of the Lexington Opera Society and a board member of the International Book Project. CAROLYN L. KENTON is an attorney in private practice with offices in Lexington. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Since 1992, Ms. Kenton has focused her practice in the areas of elder law, estate planning and probate. Prior to this, she served as a trust officer/estate planner for National City Bank in Lexington, working in estate planning, current asset management and business development. Ms. Kenton is a frequent lecturer to business and professional groups on elder law, estate planning and probate law. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where she earned her B.A., M.A. and J.D. degrees. Ms. Kenton is a member of the Elder Law Committee and the Probate and Property Section of the Kentucky Bar Association. JASON L. LEE is a member of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP, in the firm's tax, business and personal planning service team. He concentrates his practice in tax and estate planning. Mr. Lee is a licensed CPA and a member of the Fayette County and Kentucky bar associations. He earned his B.S. degree from California State University in Sacramento and his J.D. degree from the University of Kentucky. ROBERT L. McCLELLAND is an attorney in the Lexington law firm of McClelland & Associates, PLLC, where the firm's focus is on elder law issues including personal estate planning with annual updating, trusts, trust funding and settlement, business planning, wills, probate and trust administration, guardianship, Medicaid planning and special needs planning to clients in Kentucky and West Virginia. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc., the WealthCounsel, LLC, the ElderCounsel, LLC and the Special Needs Alliance. Mr. McCelland also is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association (member, Elder Law Committee). He has included in his training the Advanced Planning Course of the Esperti-Peterson Institute, Medicaid Practice Systems, Inc., and the Teton Institute, an advanced planning program employing the use of Wyoming limited liability company entities with living trust plans to create tax-free wealth transfers. Mr. McClelland has spoken widely on Medicaid planning, special needs planning and wills and trusts for both the general public and continuing legal education. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Charleston and J.D. degree from Northern Kentucky University, Chase College of Law.
