CHARLES W. DOBBINS JR. is a member in the law firm of Tilford Dobbins Alexander, PLLC. His practice areas include the law related to business entities and finance; mergers and acquisitions; syndications and tax incentives; real estate transactions, development, finance, condominium law and land use; and secured transactions. Mr. Dobbins earned his B.A. degree, with distinction, from Washington and Lee University and his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia. He served two terms as counsel, Louisville State Bar Association Board of Directors and served as an officer and director on the founding Board of Directors for the Western District of Kentucky Federal Public Defender's Office. Mr. Dobbins also served six years on the Board of Directors, Legal Aid Society, Inc. He is active in the Volunteer Lawyer Program, a donated legal services program, sponsored by the Louisville Bar Association. Mr. Dobbins is serving on the Board of Overseers, Bellarmine University and the Boards of Directors of Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic, Inc., The Glassworks Foundation, Inc and Sister Cities of Louisville, Inc. BRIAN C. DUNHAM is a member of the northern Kentucky law firm Hemmer DeFrank PLLC, where he concentrates his practice in general business law, commercial real estate, and commercial lending. He is a regular presenter at CLE seminars on business and commercial law topics, including "LLCs and LLPs in Kentucky," "Essential Skills for Drafting LLC Agreements," "LLC or Inc.? Entity Selection for a Small to Medium Sized Business," "Counseling the Kentucky Start-Up Business," and "Negotiating Commercial Transactions." Mr. Dunham earned his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees, cum laude, from Northern Kentucky University, where he was editor of the Northern Kentucky Law Review's "Kentucky Law Issue." He has served on drafting committees responsible for amendments to Kentucky's Business Corporation Act, and is a member of the Northern Kentucky (past chairperson, Business and Tax Law Section), Kentucky (past chairperson, Business Law Section), Cincinnati, Ohio, and American bar associations. KELLY W. SCHULZ is counsel in the Louisville office of Frost Brown Todd LLC, where she focuses her practice representing clients with issues involving Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Ms. Schulz has significant experience representing automotive suppliers and OEMs with issues involving equipment purchases and leases, warranties and warranty claims, supply chain management, and drafting and negotiation of supply contracts. She also regularly advises clients regarding customer and supplier bankruptcy issues and workouts. Ms. Schulz is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Kentucky, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Ms. Schulz earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from University of Kentucky and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Chase College of Law.
